Yes, the game supports GameCenter and Achievements. 4 leaderboards, High score, longest distance, time survived, amount of enemies killed.
Yep, that will definitely work I hate RPGs, well not really hate, dislike, but games with Rpg elements are so much fun!
I'll echo the other comments here: the game looks great! Definitely an awesome time to be a mobile gamer (my PS3 hasn't been powered on in a while!) Looking forward to the release so I can play.
Will players be able to use different moves in the game? Like instead of slashing you stab em or something?
I imagine in later in the game there'll be like 30 gesture and tap sequences, then 30 warriors come at you in bullet-time slash and carnage glory. Boom! Most rewarding guitar hero sequence evaaar.
Lol!, we don't have quite as many enemies showing up all at once (performance obliges ), but yes, the longer you play, the more enemies appear and the gestures have to be executed faster... Bodies do pile-up rapidly @Tim240: we have many different attacks that are triggered in a cinematic way to defeat the enemies. You don't really have controls on the executed move, it's randomly picked through the list of available sequences.
Yes - the game will be playable on Iphone 3GS. The supported devices are: Iphone 3GS/Iphone 4/Iphone 4s/Ipad/Ipad2/IPad 3rd generation/Ipod Touch 4th Generation.
I really want to love this game, but this could potentially be a huge miss, which is a shame cos the gameplay is cool in a way. So far it's just up, down, left, right swipes. Why not have double swipes like left-left, up-down, etc. which will also vary the animation? Also why not from time to time have the enemy actually block your initial attack, forcing you to swipe again quickly in the provided direction. Also are there tap sequences because I've only seen swipe gestures? As it is, based on the video at least, it's fun but it could get old very quickly. Loving the idea, seriously. But hoping there's much more to it.
This is very interesting and good feedback - we'll have to see if we can implement some of the double swipe gestures and link it to a block (which might be tricky with system in place) on future update. As for tapping, yes, there is a "tap" gameplay elements for the player to pick up loot.
Yes, the game is scheduled to release September 6th. Stay tuned, I will post the link as soon as it's available on the APP Store !
That's right ! Just a few more days before release. Look for IW next Thursday ! We will also have some great stuff to announce soon which we hope will get everyone even more excited about the game. Stay tuned!!!
