Dont play any games on anything else but the iPhone so my options are limited to appstore. Used to be a casual gamer years ago but wasnt playing any more games for the last 2-3 years. Apple pulled out the dead gamer inside of me from its grave and now I`m addicted to iPhone games :D

On the iPhone Doom resurrection is still my most favorite game(but only by a small margin now, followed by lots of other great iPhone games). I simply cant get enough of killing these zombies. Its got really good controls for an iPhone game, has great grafix and is perfect for iPhone platform as it`s easy to just pick it up anytime and start shooting those god-damn zombies just for the heck of it. :D

Gonna take a risk here since you didn't say "videogame" and answer Advanced Squad Leader which has been attempted on the computer a few times, but never successfully. It's a monster wargame that covers squad-level tactical combat in World War II. It is a very interactive 2-player game, that also plays great solitaire. I keep a copy of the rulebook on my iPod. ;) Anyone interested in trying out the system, without having to invest in a full copy of the rules/etc should try out one of the ASL Starter Kits, which are nice little slices of the combat system and are self-contained.

If I'm limited to video games, I'd go Ms. Pac Man (arcade) as it's the best of the series and can be played over and over (and over...) :)

My favorite game just has to be Football Manager.

I can play that game for hours, making new tactics, buying some players, selling some crappy players, playing some games.
In the old days, when the game was still called Championship Manager, things were a lot easier. Every year they add a lot of options but that keeps the game challenging as well. I have always been a fan of the series and i will remain a fan for a lot of years too i guess, unless they totally screw up the gameplay offcourse :)
Anyway , it's my favourite game because you can just start it and say, just 1 game , then i quit, and after 3 hours you keep on saying, 1 game left ;)

final fantasy 9 on the ps1...had great graphics at that time, immense world to explore, great storyline, one of the best battle systems I have encountered for an rpg, and a very underrated compared to the other FF games

  6. Pocket God for the iTouch because it's content is constantly updated, and I have a successful blog for the glitches in the game. I don't do any other gaming besides mobile gaming.

Like Skipper said, Pocket God is my fave also. But I also play Halo 3. That's about it, other than some small PC games. Telltale Games ftw.

Question 1 Winners and Question 2

Thanks for the great responses. I enjoyed reading them.

It was very difficult to pick a winner, so I picked two. Congrats to drelbs and ImNoSuperMan as Question 1 winners.

There are still 4 more questions and at least 4 more codes to give away.

Question 2 needs to be answered by tomorrow, September 17 by 9pm EST.

What is your favorite website and why?

  12. My favorite web site is either TouchArcade, because it keeps me ahead of the game in the iTouch community, or my own website, because I run it :p

Favorite website - howardforums.com - why? it is pretty good as the network is huge. I am a big phone guy and might have owned more than 50 phones in the last few years, including all the three generations of the Iphone. I have been using HoFo for years now and have gained more knowledge and expertise on each models (including cracking and hacking) through the forum. There are some sections which have been the top compared to other websites and blogs. There are some awesome bloggers/reviewers including me ;) that will post anything and everything they can find about any technology that is or will be available on the phones which makes it even better to read.

PS. I am nowhere affiliated to HoFo and I am not a moderator or admin for their system.

I got no single favourite site, there are more than one in my mind and I cant decide which one to pick...

I pretty much enjoy Toucharcade because here you can easily stay in touch with the iDevice community and game developers.

Youtube of course is cool because of its huge mass of videos...

Deviantart got a lot of nice drawings, designs and whatever... every artist MUST register at Deviantart!

I also often visit the Pocket Blog and some PocketGod Fanblogs, because you know you want Pocket God xD

I really like this website. toucharcade.com.

The forums are really easy to navigate, offers up tons of promo codes and free stuff. Lot and lots of people to talk to about the various games on offer for the iDevice, interesting discussion about economics too in the "general game discussions" thread. This site really is excellent, with great front page headlines too.

If you want to find out about iDevice games, this is the best place by far to find out about them.
