Indigo Lake is indeed a great game, it has some flaws, but it's a HUGE improvement from The Woods. It's one of the 5 scariest games on App Store, but if the developers keep improving and studying the fear and the art of scaring the audience, I'm sure they will come up with the scariest mobile game ever. Hitchcock, Stephen King, Lovecraft, Poe, Polanksi... All those guys can help how to build and explore an horror story. And also games like Slender, Year Walk, Outlast and Resident Evil 1-3. Good work!
Glad your liking it so far, I had a look though all the comments from the appstore and it does not look like other people are having the turn issue, you should be able to do a swipe to the left to turn it. Have you tried rotating the devices so its the other way around? just to see if its that part of the screen?
Thanks for that. It at least gives me an indication of what does what without spoiling anything (despite the spoiler tags). I'm wondering now if I had found the first key without even realizing it as I've already gotten past the point you mentioned. BTW, I'm not disagreeing with you about how long it took you to finish the game but I do kind of agree with ThreeCubes that if everyone immediately was able to figure out puzzles in games that have them -- they all would be quite short. I haven't finished Machinarium, for instance, but I'd be willing to bet that game would also be like an hour long or less if you knew exactly what you were doing. Different type of game, and probably not the best analogy, but if you didn't have all the repetitive battles in the Infinity Blade games, they'd probably be like 30 minutes to an hour.
Keys I have found two keys, one with the house with dig site underneath, which also needs a key but isn't the same one, and one from the puzzle in the Camp Andrew base from shooting those wall tiles. But I don't know what they open, I went back to the dig site thinking I had to backtrack and that wasn't the case either.
Just wanted to say that this game is Amazing, it's really immersive and dismal, best horror game I've played in a while. Have you ever thought about opening a KickStarter, and shoot for other platforms Nex-Gen or Steam?
This game is terrifying, I cannot even play it for more than a few minutes at a time. On a technical note, iphone 5 ios 7 I experience some minor studdering.
Wish me luck this weekend also. I'm going to play it in the dark with good headphones. If I don't post on Monday, please send a search party!
You forgot Amnesia the Dark Descent, many consider this game to be the scariest video game of all time and for good reason too. Took me a month to get the courage to play this game at night !
I got the third key. Now there is a guy with an axe near the house basement. Shots aren't Killing him
Ok. I'm confused as to whether I reached the end or if there is an ending. Spoiler I burned down the tower and shot the glowing orbs. The wind kicked up and I seemed to be drawn into the lake. I shot a whole bunch of the girls and ran into what appeared to be an island but there were barriers there that seemed to indicate the edge of the game world. So anyway, the lake is "indigo" and all I seem to be able to do is walk in the lake and continue shooting the girls. Can't seem to go back up the hill and nothing seems to be in the first cabin. So am I at the end or is there something else I'm supposed to do?
Spoiler There is a clue about hands, think about it... Spoiler ...you are suppose to shoot the hands coming out the of water Spoiler ...once all the hands are gone you can "kill" the ghost
