Greetings! I'm kicking off this week with an important update to the original post of this thread, more clearly reflecting its purpose, the services I provide out of Higher Eclectic Ground, and how it ties into the freelance services offered by the music composers/sound designers I'm representing here on the Toucharcade forums. I encourage you to check it out while also coursing through my website, that has also undergone a content update. ---- For now, I bring you another beat-pumping tune from Synthwave/ambient/cinematic musician Van Reeves -- 0010[J]et Pack. The 4-minute cyberpunk-themed track is an underground, bass-driven, club-like composition that borrows its approach from comics such as those of Judge Dredd, while adopting its rude style from games like Shadowrun. As is with most of Reeves' work, this track is available for use in your games as per the terms listed here. If you're not interested but still love Reeves' work, you can freely get in touch with us for original music requests via the above hyperlink. Alternatively, mail me at sean.b[at]highereg[dot]com to sort things out quickly. Thanks for your continued support. - Sean B.
On The Loose | Will Phillips Will Phillips created On The Loose as a sample for a visual novel - point n' click mystery thriller back in June, this year. The lighthearted, slightly jazzy melody was to have multiple variations adapted to various in-game situations. Doesn't it go great with a midnight timelapse? Will creates latin/rock/jazz/funk infused orchestral music for games, films, live performances and more. Check him out.

He's previously created a host of tracks from the horror genre, among others, all of which can be used in your work. Be sure to take your pick and reach out via the hyperlink above.
Calling For Help | Alfredo Sirica At the crux of Calling For Help's melody is a lonely voice, meant to capture the sense of solitude players will encounter on The Young Socratics' puzzle adventure, Odyssey. The harp and strings meanwhile, as some of you may notice from previously showcased compositions from the game on this thread, follow the style established by its composer Alfredo Sirica in the rest of his work on Odyssey's soundtrack. This of course being only a short sample of Sirica's quality of work. If you're a fan of his work and would like to collaborate with him on your projects, let us know!
High Scores (SCDR) | JMD Believe it or not for 'High Scores', composer Simone Bernacchia went back to 1986 arcade classic Outrun, an Italian Kronenbourg beer commercial from 1985 and Elton John for inspiration. The result is this near 2-minute tune that features on the soundtrack of Project R3D's upcoming Amiga racing game, Small Cars Drag Race. Retro gaming enthusiast? You'll enjoy the rest of Simone's portfolio of work.
The Kingdom In The Sky | Sam Oz In its run-time of two-and-a-half minutes, The Kingdom In The Sky starts out calm before descending into an orchestra of different violins and the cor anglais. Like with much of his work before, its composer Sam Oz states that the tune's structure was in no way premeditated, rather taking shape of its own as he went along. Impressed? Video compiled from stock footage by myself.
Unit Lost / #24 | Van Reeves Deliberate in pace, this brooding four-minute tune of Unit Lost is an attempt at the Tech-noir genre by Van Reeves. Obvious inspirations include Blade Runner, with the musician's intentions being that of creating a sombre piece while retaining an all-electronic approach to its process. Like it? Why not use it in your games?
Watching The Detectives | Will Phillips Funky guitar riffs, strong horn lines, clamouring cymbals, and cinematic strings; this two-minute track by Will Phillips has going for it everything a 1970s cop drama should be. True enough, it will mark the theme for Mark Williams' upcoming comedy web series Watching the Detectives, that chronicles the exploits of two detectives fired from the police force. Will Phillips' groovy flavor of music of course is not limited to film, but has lent itself well to games in the past. Reach out to us if your project is in need of some funk.
The Prodigal Son | Caleb Cuzner This week,Caleb Cuzner ventures beyond his usual medley of electronic sounds to establish a Middle Eastern atmosphere in The Prodigal Son. Created for a 5-minute clip on the Biblical parable of the same name, the track's Arabian melody is produced by a blend of middle eastern scales, layered western harmonies, the ney flute and the lute.
