Currently at 93, and it's getting pretty hard. I have skipped quite a few of the nodes along the way, but will hopefully spend more time with Incurve tomorrow. Still trailing everyone's scores, although not in the mini-game at the moment...
Got 127 missed just one, too bad, Congrats Cloudpuff for getting 128, you beat me girl, you go girl, Ha ha.
Now the competition you got going on really amplifies the need for a endless mode. (thanks Cloudpuff for the ask) All ideas are welcome, i just want the game to be as enjoyable to all the players that it can be.. And who knows better ideas of improvement than the players. Oh! And since you're into the score chasing in the mini game also. Why leave it there... Long jump anyone?
I just got number one on the mini game 37 points he he. Cool idea about the long jump, you can do so many things with this game, you can even make a midgetgolf course of 18 holes with it.
That's crazy! You've spent some time at the menus I actually have a other project on the side, that uses the same mechanics but more of a puzzler. (will have an another thread for it soon) Yeah it sure would fit the throwing. Then it should have high jump also!
Love the long jump idea. Is nice to see some new faces on the leaderboards too. Roger nice score on the mini game.
My score on the minigame isn't syncing for some reason, it's shows me has having a high score of 6, when it's actually 12 and has been for a while. I'm signed into gamecentre and everything so not sure what's happening but just wanted to mention it. 12 is still shameful but not as shameful as 6.
Good find. I made a small fix for the next update, that should give the game center reporting a bit more reliability. Just to be sure that these kind of issues won't happen again. Thanks!
So one thing led to another. Started just as testing, but it actually feels quite fun now. Starting point will be the same for all 3, only the direction you choose sorta picks the game. Have to blame slamraman a bit for this one.. cloudpuff that sort of ambition sounds great, some crazy score to beat
How about a sort of "speed run" leaderboard for the main game, i.e your game center 'score' is the time it took you to complete the main game from the last reset (total time across all attemps) This would add challenging replay value to the main game.
Might be something to think about! Actually sounds really good, but only problem i see, is the fact that it's hard to estimate that if the time is going to be good? There was mentioned earlier something about low amounts of restarts, maybe something to think of would be the number of rounds to finish. (1 round completion being the best naturally. That would be something i hardly think no one would ever achieve. )
Maybe you'd need to show the current total time, and maybe on each checkpoint show the 'best time' for that checkpoint in previous runs to get an idea if you are improving or not from previous runs (Or even friends times or top times), but it's complicated and definitely too much information to show someone who is playing for the first time. Amount of restarts sounds good too, though if the game takes off I wouldn't be surprised if some people achieve it in one go making them equal in their scores. Also there will always be cheaters and with a minimal/best value of '1' it's impossible to filter out the cheaters from the real scores.
