*sigh* Does this mean the file has become larger now? EDIT: Went from around 30 mb to around 50. Not a huge deal, but was it really necessary? Was there really a majority who cared about higher def sound or just a very vocal minority? I know I couldn't care less, and now feel like this app is taking up extra space on my iPad for absolutely no good reason at all. If I yell and scream about it will the dev change it back?
I would say that the great original soundtrack being present in its unmitigated form is a very good reason, and barely worth making a fuss about at 11mb extra =/
First of all let me congratulate you on such a fantastic game, I've been following your progress ever since you announced the concept on your website. Brilliant to finally play it, and I must say its a beautiful game! I could do with a little advice though. http://s898.photobucket.com/albums/ac184/Lukelin12/?action=view¤t=1fb73d88.jpg&evt=user_media_share Stuck on this Part of the sunshine system. I've looked through the forum and still can't work it out, I made the presumption I need to hit both quickly but I can't hit both in one sweep, been trying for the past 30mins. I guess I could be missing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
That's the part of the game that had me totally confused. I eventually got it to work through trial and error, but I have no idea how. It was just a fluke that got me through it. Sorry I couldn't help but maybe somebody else could shed some light on how this actually works as there seems to be a lot of people stuck on this bit.
I actually simply threw a Lot of Orbs at it in different angles. All of a sudden both Lights went Green, no Idea why. Maybe behause they were already swinging a Bit before because i jumped on them.
You need to angle the blue orb so that it hits both the red things... One when it goes up and the other when it comes down... Took me about 8 tries...
Oh for the love all things holy, how did you solve it? I have been throwing things at it like a caveman, but to no avail! Help?
Spoiler 1) stand on the second platform from the ground to the left of the switches 2) throw harder than you need to (so there is excess energy left after the first collision) 3) only just clip the first switch (as if you're playing pool) Good luck, and thanks for playing!
Stuck on merrymeet I have managed to figure out all the previous puzzles myself but am now totally stuck. I am on Merrymeet and have collected all star pieces from Sincerity but am totally stuck on what to do on Pity. I have tried to jump to catch grapple hook from the platform with the micro portal to Sincerity but just don't think it is possible and cannot reach anything else. Help!
Thanks a lot for that; but more importantly, thanks for such a thoroughly enticing and brilliant game!
Without a picture, it's hard to tell. However, if it's the one I think it is, then you're going to hate this. Spoiler From Sincerity, BOUNCE STRAIGHT UP into the Microportal. It's hard. Again, I apologise. I was clearly in a very evil mood when I made segments of this game.
Actually, I think I know the part you mean. I spent a long time trying to make that jump, almost convinced it couldn't be done, always falling just short of reaching the grapple point. I played around with the controls and eventually found something that worked for me: Spoiler Change the controls to the joypad. Lay the iPad down on a flat surface like a table. Use the joypad to run to the end of the platform and tap in the upper side of the screen to jump. I don't know why the position of the iPad would help, but when I did this, it worked first time. Hope it works for you!
Hmm... Need screenshots to clarify further. I don't recall making any basic jump quite so difficult. Usually, if you're having this kind of issue with the platforming then it requires a different solution.
i'm afraid i'm stuck here too. how to you get up on the tower where sun gate is? any hint would be much appreciated. the moving platform to the left is intended to be going up at an angle right?
I made jump first time! Thanks - that just hadn't occurred to me. I hate having to fiddle about being in the right position for jumps etc in games so love the way inn this you just have to work out what to do. I have just finished game and loved it. Please make more!
I just got done with my second playthrough... Decided to go through it again after the update with the high quality music, and... THANK YOU! Definitely was more immersive this time around. I couldn't put the game down, and finished it in one playthrough. Really, Incoboto has got to be my favorite game of the year so far... It's such a fantastically well written, gorgeous, immersive game that grabs you, and makes its mark.
Bought the game, beat it several hours later, really enjoyed it. Reminded me of Knytt more than anything else. A few points ot feedback: - Like others, I wasn't big on the control scheme. It's difficult to precisely position yourself without jumping since tapping briefly will make you jump as well as move. A jump button would've been nice on the gamepad, even if it'd mean you'd have to use two hands sometimes. - The puzzles were generally really well-done and the hints were nice, if I have any complaint it's that sometimes it was unclear what switch was controlling what. That you'd have to just try random things to see if one of them takes down a forcefield, etc. - In general, I think a lot of iOS indie games are too long, but this one was a bit on the short side. It felt like it should have been 33-50% longer... like instead of rapidly collecting 30 starpieces at the end, they should've all been in full levels too. - Don't really feel like I understood the story very well, but there's probably no need for details here. - I found all the starcharts without trouble, but... no reward?? Sad. Also, it seems like there should be a way to check on the galactic map or something whether you've acquired all the starpiece/charts in that level. Anyways, this is definitely one of my favorite iOS titles that I've played (and actually stuck with to beat!) in recent months. Bravo.
BleakStorm System Im stuck on BleakStorm System, the planet Thought, and I have 24 star things and have no clue what is going on with the sparksphere with the three buttons, any tips?
