After a couple more levels, I also think it'd be great to see a joystick implemented, though I won't stop playing if it's never added... I did notice that there's no options for turning the music or fx off, and they play over any music you might be listening to on your iDevice... Hope an options screen or something (little music or speaker icons in the 'deeper' section?) can be added...
I agree with others about a joystick control option. Having fun with this game, presentation and art direction is fantastic.
Hey! Massive thanks guys and gals for the early feedback. We are super happy that you like the story and that it drags you in for more. To answer some of your ideas. - (@botomatic, @syntheticvoid, @boodro82) We are already working on an alternative control scheme - we've heard requests for it from other sources as well. In 1.1, that we hope to submit in ASAP, you'll see added ability to switch controls (at least for some of the game modes where it makes sense) to a virtual joystick. (@syntheticvoid) - skipping in-level cutscenes and dialogs is bit of a challenge for the time being but we can see it being a drag when replaying levels and we have some ideas how we could maybe try to tackle that but for the time being it's still too early to promise anything right away - bug with the outro scene in level 2 is already fixed and waiting for patching in 1.1 - adding switch for in-game SFX/Music should be fairly easy to do - we'd need to test it to make sure that it plays well with itunes music and such - good point and we'll defo look into that! - (@ramzarules) no hats, masks, scarves or pet owls for now - until we can support player designed vanity items like Team Fortress does what's the point? - @ImJPaul - here's a tissue for you my friend /wipeshands Hope to hear more from you guys! Touch Arcade community was a massive help for us in beta period (hi5 guys!) and we hope it will continue. I bought this early this morning before going to work and played a couple of levels. The game stuck with me the entire day (in my head, I mean) and I couldn't wait to come home and say the smallest thing about it: If you can't see that this is a labor of love, you're a ****ing idiot. Outstanding work. It's gorgeous from head to toe (menus included), sounds amazing and is so bloody original. PS: Unless another mod changes it, I'm leaving the NZ tag on this thread in the hope that it gets some love and attention with tomorrow's releases.

you'll enjoy it! i agree with a joy stick tap to move or making it follow your finger is kind of hard eh but it's still a great game visually and gameplay-ing-ly
Bought because of the dev's replies and all your opinons i think i'll enjoy it for charm alone. Edit: after the first two stages, i am so glad a v-stick is coming! The game has the same problem with Sparkle 2:Evo, it is gorgeous but you can't really see what's going on with your finger all over the screen, and that's on the ipad air 2.

Ok time to help us get you what you want! Before we started implementing virtual stick we added support for Playstation DS4 because if we are to get a stick in we need a proper reference to how it should behave! We have a first working version in and we need your help! @botomatic, @syntheticvoid, @boodro82, @ramzarules, @Hambo12! Fancy testing prototype before we start finalising the new feature and packaging it for 1.1 release? Been looking at this and finally downloaded. What a great price for such a well crafted game! Glad I didn't miss out. The comic book style and beautiful artwork are great. Love the characters' fun personalities too. This is one of those games that just makes you happy Lots of character for sure. Looking forward to the V stick, as it is a little tough to see with your finger/hand covering the screen. I can easily recommend Imps in Tokyo to anyone that is hesitating. Really unique game there I like the core gameplay even if normaly I don't like drawing with my finger on the screen... Love how player characters work, i.e.: that you can spin them around when your finger is very close to the imp character. I don't know how with replayability, because you have missions with different goals, but right now I'm into it BTW don't know if that's a bug, but on stage 4 I think? The one where you have to imprison bad guys in bubbles I had my counter as 10/10, but the mission didn't end... Then I got killed, so I don't know if I could somehow finish this level. Kudos for the great game from Warsaw Spoiler Edit: know I know, I had to collect ten bad guys and wait until all of them will come out. But there should be a timer or something to show that it works like this.

Basically your goal is to survive each and every level whereas sometimes you have to complete some additional task like capture bad guys but now we realise it may not be so apparent to everyone We'll make better description of the main goal for this level. Ps. tip from dev - the moon is the timer in almost each and every level. When it goes down it means the level is about to be completed Cheers, Mario
