Super Hexagon comparison is perfect here. Damn hard, damn addicting, visually simple but neat. Great game! And I only survive mere seconds.
Game looks damn hard from the videos. Still undecided as I kinda feel like each game will last like 5 seconds before I go flying off the track. I take it there are no achievements in this one, just leaderboards?
Ok I'm in love. Not for everyone but I love it. This may sound lame but I would love to see a reversible colour option on this so to make it look slick on the black iphones aswell
Invert colors in your iOS settings. Actually, I'm gonna go try that now. Edit: SOOO TRIPPY!! Everything's black on orange/red, I would upload a screenshot but when you take a screenshot on inverted colors it just changes back to normal.
Yeah it looks perfect!! It's such an athletically pleasing game if this is not too hard an option to install it would be great to see it Strange that the screenshots didn't work ay. Never knew that
Would be a lot easier to see where your landing. xD Other than that, the game looks pretty interesting and would probably buy, if not for the fact that I don't think something this simple is worth £1.49 compared to other games.....
Hmm...it starts out real good. I feel the big white ball having some weight (though it could be more) and i dig the first five or six curves, hell yeah...like it. But suddenly i start bouncing and floating...way too much, imho. While i'm able to save myself once or even twice, i already know that i am floating into the white oblivion. I spent an hour with it, but without some nicely shaped update for a not-so-hardcore gamer as i am, i leave this game in the barn. Folks, this game is the name - Impossible. I love the art-style, i love the great mono beat, i love the idea overall. I just don't dig it, as is. Pity. Edit: Some people will get lots of hours whit this game, very well worth the huge amount of two dollars.
Has anyone else had a problem with their high scores not submitting? I went from 86 to 119 or something like that but the game didn't say new best score and Game Center hasn't updated. GC is sometimes slow but since even the game didn't say best score then it seems like a bug. I like the game but a game like this is all about high scores and if they're unreliable then why bother? The two hackers aren't a problem because they're obvious, but potentially how many legit scores are missing from the board? Main feature I'd like to see added is something like swipe to restart. It's usually obvious when I've failed and waiting for it to fade to white is a waste of time. Also reducing restart times would be nice as currently it takes 2-4 seconds to load the level.
The two hackers are not a problem now but wait a few days. They will be filled with "legit" looking scores.
Are you not having fun in the process of creating scores? Staring at a number isn't exactly a game in itself. It's all about the personal goal for me, I don't care what some kid 3000 miles away is doing with his game.
I'm like that with games I'm not good at, but with games like this or Super Hexagon where I stand a chance then it's fun to compete to get into the top 50 or 100 or whatever. It's much more satisfying to beat 50 real humans than it is to earn 50 digital unicorn points.
Yeah, it's hard to compete with friends when your high score doesn't submit. Got 79 earlier when I had no cell service and it hasn't synced. Hopefully there'll be an update soon to rectify this.
Ahh, 242. Almost beat the creators (the all time) high score. I can settle for 2nd though (not counting those hacked scores)
Man I hate those hackers it is not fun anymore to play any further, can Apple do nothing about it or what.
I find this game quite entertaining, but eventually i got bored still trying to figure out how to play decently. by that, I mean making use of the game's mechanics to maximize the score. Super Hexagon didnt take more than a couple runs to get the gist of the game, and then only skill mattered, which makes it more superior than Impossible Road.
