I just realized that Implosion was free on my Note 4, yet I paid 10 bucks on my iPad. I wonder why there is a cross system price point? Anybody know?

Because of the high percentage of pirated apps on the android platform.

Piracy is more rampant on android.. therefor its F2P with iAPs on Android and Premium without iAPs on iOS

Actually the first few levels are free on Android. Then it's IAP to unlock the rest. No typical F2P mechanics are present. It's no less "premium" than the iOS version, just more accessible. The free part is more than enough to get a good impression of the game.

Yup, same game, simply different methods of purchase. The Android free-to-download, pay-to-unlock method of purchase is a direct result of rampant piracy, but it's still Implosion.
