Last week I checked if there were any news, looks like game will be released simultaneously or at least first on new Android TV which has no official release date at time of this writing. Game was demoed to journalists last month at Google I/O conference, most of the articles I read were from Asian sites so I was using Google translate - don't take any of this as fact. My understanding is that sometime during the game development (which was going fine) Google approached Rayark and two Co. struck some kind of a deal that resulted in game being launched later than originally planned and addition of Co-Op being added to Implosion + some other features related to Android TV.
How can be an Implosion+ if the first one never comes out yet ? Sound weird. Anyway, it'll be cool if Rayark comes by that forum to keep us updated.
nope. they've been dark for a while, but reading this page it looks like google's intervention could be the reason why. Oh well at least we know it will be good. as long as it doesn't become an exclusive
It will not be Android exclusive, there is no indication of that anywhere. Android Tv might have same features that are not available on other platforms/devices and if any game takes advantage of that there is no harm done. Longer development in most cases means more polished product,more features added etc. except Ubisoft - in that case it is most certainly a downgrade but that's another story..
