Faq Hello all, I'm arriving mid-stream, a 62 page thread! Question, can't we help fast track this process by creating a FAQ of sorts. Step 1 for me is complete - get the app and the iCade. Now, I've located some roms, but I'm seeing talk of rom sets? Lots of questions that surely reading all 62 pages of this thread might answer, but some help to get me gaming sooner would be appreciated. I do the reading, the searching, the downloading, but a friendly point in the right direction would be great! jpb
The games I have so far is.. Batman Donkey Kong Mario Bros Moonwalker MK1 NBA Jam OutRun OutZone Paperboy PacMan Rainbow Islands T2 (Terminator 2) They all work fine. Any other good games out there? I've tried so hard to add SMB that I've given up on others..
Hmm when I delete the file you mention the game goes back to very hard and no continues. Am I doing something incorrect? EDIT I've sorted it somehow.
wow thanks for letting me know. i went back to mahou daisakusen and got the sound working now. i had to reset the game from the configuration menu for some reason but after i did that the sound came on! the gamelist.txt from both official mame 37b5 and 37b7 list batsugun and dogyuun with no sound.
looking on the web it appears sound for batsugun and dogyuun was finally added to official mame in 2011. wow they finally cracked the encryption. of course that doesn't help us with imame hahaha but it is nice to know it works on official mame. also because of the work with batsugun, they were able to get the sound working on knuckle bash, v-five, and fixeight. all these are toaplan boards with the nec v25/35 microcontroller. looks like the sound was added in v0142b http://mamedev.org/releases/whatsnew_0142.txt that leaves fire shark, vimana, ghox and teki paki as the last toaplan games yet to have sound emulated.

Hopefully this isn't too far off topic. I'm at my parents in another state and have an iPad 2 I got for Christmas. I have iMame on my iPhone but I want to transfer it to my iPad. iTunes doesn't seem to be an option since its my parents comp. any ideas how I could get imame from my phone to my iPad, maybe through i explorer or something?
The app is tied to your account. You'll need to sign in on their device with your itunes account, transfer over the app and then sign out. He should then be able to use the app, but they won't be able to update it without your password.
Also hellfire and demons world. Anyone able to play forgotton worlds? It seems to crash the app as soon as you hit one of the lizard people,even on the attract screen. Same thing happens on my pandora handheld,but it works fine in mame 37b5 on the pc. Altered beast is another game not playing properly,at least for me!
Alien storm and altered beast will not work. They are running out of ram or something. They worked in previous versions. And hopefully again in future updates.
