iPad iMAME (iOS iMAME4ALL in App Store) by Jim VanDeventer

Quick question, do we need to unzip the file first?

 

So I put the files in my imame and the only thing I see different is the menu colors changed...

What else does this do?

 

Anybody got these to work proper?

Gunforce (no sound)
Hellfire (a little choppy and player 1 space ship and some enemies not visible)
Looks like an excellent game I want to play.

Awesome thanks a bunch. If i come across one i'll do the same. On a side note does anyone know how to get sound to work on batsugun? I'm guessing its just a glitch in emulation and probably isn't fixable, but i could be wrong.

I think there might be a workaround for getting sound on batsugun. It seems there are sound samples floating around that may or may not work. Still looking for a source for them but someone posted them on mameworld. I don't really want to create an account there so if someone who has an account can check it out and let us know, that would be great.

 

Far, far easier to simply download a full 0.37b5 set ~2GB.

 

Definitely much easier to download the correct set. Took me 5 mins to find and takes about half an hour to download

 

The 37b7 set is much easier to find and works perfectly too

 

The b5 set i spent hours trying to find with no luck. The place i did find it from which is where i think most people are downloading it from actually banned my ip. So i had to find another source and could only find 37b7, which seems to be nearly identical.

 

As for clrmamepro you only need the dat file for 37b5 and then you can recreate the romset from your current roms. Check the official website on how to do it, its actually very easy.

I never thought I'd be able to play Dragon Ninja & Windjammers on my iphone.Thank you! Merry Christmas! I'll download the archive when I get home in two days, but to be honest, my version seems to work great, showing the help archive and such.

 

iMAME has been pulled or there is a problem with AppStore.
