Put all my points mainly on energy. Then bought 10 of every property and 22 strip malls :)

Also, don't use the bank to store money!

    edit: just levelled up...

    Lev 37 workaholic
    20 mobsters
60 energy (can run 3 missions at a time now)
    Critical/Evasion 15%
    About 70+ properties
    $812,000 income -110,000 upkeep

Was thinking about adding up my hit-points, but I'm too lazy. I win most of my fights now. I level up quicker that way. If you pick your targets right you can afford to heal in the hospital because you'll make more in fights.

Getting bored though, not sure what to work towards. I do the smuggling by sea missions. Why do they call them quests? It's so...un-Mafia-like. Should be "jobs"...like a bank "job".

And so are those character graphics. My guy looks nothing like a Mafioso...more like someone who should be riding a skateboard around. The character artwork doesn't match the game at all IMHO. Well maybe the Mogul does a bit.

Someone mentioned throwing a casino in the game to keep us busy while we waited for our timers to tick down. I think that's a great idea. Could use our money to gamble and kill time.

When buying property pick the one with the biggest return. Why buy a property for 1,500,000 that pays 10,000 when you can get 10@ 100,000 each that pay 1,000 each? And buy in bulk.

I used to think using the bank was smart, but I think you stand to lose more $ in there than can be stolen from you in fights.

I was bored tonight so I made a spreadsheet that calculates how many hitpoints (attack and defense) you have. I'm surprised iMafia doesn't include these totals in the game.

All you do is fill in how many of each item you have and it calculates the total Attack and Defense points you currently have. It also tells you your "hourly" upkeep costs.

After viewing my own stats I realized that I had a mob member that was not equipped with a defense shield, so I bought him one. I added in the ability to calculate that as well. Picture below:

It's a simple Excel / OpenOffice spreadsheet file. Simply fill in the fields in white and you're done :)

    Download it here.

I thought this might be interesting to have. Hope some of you find it useful.

    My stats:
    Attack = 664
    Defense = 627

    i have a question:

    Rocket Launcher 200.000 (up 2.500)
    A: 16 D:14 = 30

    Sniper Rifle 600.000 (up 7.000)
    A: 25 D: 0 = 25

Can i say that the rocket launcher is better in fights and costs 1/3 of the Sniper Rifle, or did i missunderstood something?

or is the smallest "part" (attack or defence) when u summerize all your weapons important?

    Sniper Rifle

You could say the Sniper rifle is better when you attack, but it's worth zero when someone attacks you. I kind of wondered about this when I started playing. Using all Rocket Launchers until you get "rich" is a sound strategy, that way you'll have a good attack and defense.

My Character is TheJazz level 66 Mogul
    Attack/Def 102
    Critical 17%
    Fights won 3520/501
    Deaths 1
    Kills 180
    Income about $1.4 million
    26 Members all Humvees

Been playing this game hard for about 3 weeks now. There are some other good players giving me a run for my money, but when my character is geared for offense or defense, he's tough to stop. Good Game, though I wish there was a little more to do besides just attack everybody. Casino idea sounded interesting...

    Good luck all..

Oh and don't attack TheJazz, or you might find yourself "sleeping with the fishes.."

    hey i added u )

there is ways to protect urself from getting attacked, but dries-up ur battery ((

u need to start getting some better income, try getting bulks of 10 that helps a lot on the price and generates better income. but idk how long it would take me to make 110 millions then i only generate 801,400 and do eliminate rival missions.

im hoping plane smuggling brings some good money
but mobsters are way to expensive now :(

Just a friendly tip to those iMafia'ers. When you are about level 10 and have a small income, instead of using the bank to hold your money, you can buy 10 properties at a time. When buying 10, you buy all of them at the same price, as opposed to buying 1 at a time where you see the price increases. So, when you buy 10, the property cost doubles, meaning that if you go to sell the property, you get the same exact amount of money back. This works on all undeveloped properties, and all establishment properties *up until the Luxury Estates*.

The undeveloped properties work best in this scenario, since you can just keep money stored in there for 10x property at a time, or purchase another investment off of it.

    Example to show my logic:

    Town Square 10x = $500,000
Now Town Square will cost $100,00/ea
    Strip Mall 10x = $10,000,000
Now Strip Mall will cost $2,000,000/ea
So there's a few things you can do here, you can either keep the money in town square and withdraw whenever you want to with no loss to money. Or you can invest it into the Strip Mall. Note that you will lose the 10x of Town Square. Now, you can store $10,000,000 in Strip Mall and withdraw whenever you want and incur no loss from investing in the strip mall, but mind you will have lost $500,000 from purchasing the 10x Town Square. Much better than using the bank PLUS you receive a decent income while the money is in there.

Note: This only works on the first 10x amounts of property that I mentioned. As the price rate doesn't go up as much after that. Hope this helps.
