I agree with you, I've had my Mini for 2 years and its still fine. Anybody who believes the A7 is going to obsolete in a year is merely being ignorant considering how long the A5 has lasted and been supported in Apple's product line.

Do you know this? Last I knew it still wasn't confirmed, but all of the rumours were pointing towards 2gb

Well Gsmarena said it is 1GB Ram and i believe them.

If it were higher, Apple would have touted it in their press conference.

They can't really increase the memory on one device in a product range, if the next gen of phones go up you would then expect the iPads to as well, not beforehand I wouldn't think.

I'll be happy if the iPad Air 2 still has only 1gb of ram. It'll save me a lot of money as the only reason I might upgrade would be to have more ram. If it's the same, that'll save me a lot, I'm not interested in a slightly thinner pad and gimmicky fingerprint scanner.

No new iPod Touch. I'm mad as heck, too.
    not really

I am considering an iPad Air 2, but I'm afraid it will end up not being used very much.

Well, I have to say I'm a little miffed not having a new Touch. Gaming I use on the other devices but the Touch is a viable tool used for a pda with the apps being specific for my needs. I can get by on a card phone for a monthly $15 fee:eek: and don't need/want an expensive data plan so the Touch devices are more suitable.

I would really like to try a mini but think I'll hold off till the next batch comes out with hopefully some upgrades to be a deciding factor.

Apple won again. I'm upgrading from an iPad mini retina to th iPad Air 2. 128GB is enough storage I hope. It should be here by Monday.

I was considering buying the new iPad mini.. Seen the specs HELL NO!

I'd rather buy the new Air but it might take some time like 3-4 months from now..

I actually am a little bugged that Apple doesn't release a new iPod Touch, I've had my fifth gen since it came out and it's alright still but now all the new chips coming out are leaving the A5 chip stressed out. Plus I don't really have the cash for a phone or an iPad. I would like to just grab a sixth gen iPod, and be able to play the new stuff coming out. I'd be fine with just an A6 chip right now

Since the iPad Air 2 has been confirmed to have 2gb of ram (my main annoyance with my pad is lack of ram) I was going to order one but I see they scrapped the 32gb model.. WHY?

Surely if they wanted to scrap one model the 16gb version is the one to scrap? It makes no sense to me to scrap the 32gb and leave the pretty useless 16gb version.

Sadly for me that is a deal breaker as my budget won't stretch to the 64gb one and there is no way I'd buy the 16, that's way too small to use. No purchase from me this year Apple.

32GB version is gone, but for price of 32GB model you now get 64GB model :)

Not in the shop I buy from. I checked an hour ago, an iPad Air 2 64gb is £619 (which is approx $990). Which is out of my budget.

Tbh it's no great loss, I'm sure this ipad will last me easily another year.

Holy moly! That's expensive! If a 64GB iPad Air 2 costs that much, I could never afford it, I see hat you mene.
