      At least you tried the restore mate. I'd go with it charged myself, so they can see. Just my opinion. Also, tell them that you tried the restore.

      I'll let them know, do you have any opinion as to what i should tell them though? Based on my research, what you say really does change the outcome (what they will do for you).

      I went to Best Buy recently to replace a charger for my mom's laptop and I had no idea what happened, and they just flat out replaced it with no questions asked.

      Lol, whats worse is that it technically had one xD (Invisible Shield from ZAGG)
      Using a temporary fix so as not to harm the screen or scratch the back until I get some sort of a case.

      Of course not ;)

      I still had the original case, so I made the return look well taken care of, took off the invisible shield and it looked brand new.
