OK, finally I'm playing it. HD version on 4th gen Touch. I like it so far. Graphics are insanely good. Gameplay is fun - it's an arcade game, pure and simple. Having said that, I agree with others who said they wish they could free roam. The environments are pretty damn amazing to look at, it's natural to wish we could play this like a real FPS. I suspect/hope we see some updates in the future to add a bit more flesh on the mutant bones. But hey, for $2 I'm seeing what this device can really do and having some fun with a decent arcade game. It's worth it. EDIT: Damn, just realized I posted this in the wrong Rage thread. LOL! This is the crazy one.

You just wanted to say, that if something is cheap, we shouldn't criticize it. But beauty isn't enough. Then I could rate Epic Citadel the best App Store game EVER. It's free and the most beautiful game of all. But this game IS short and get's old quickly. Of course you can play it over and over and over again. But some just don't want to cause they are bored. Don't worry, you will soon read a praising and glowing review on the front page saying that this is one of the best games you can get, I guess.

I haven't read the thread so I can't say if anyone experienced the issue that I have now with RAGE HD. I start the game, I get the splash screen and then one second into the "newspaper" cutscene, it crashes back to the home screen. It does that even though I 1- cleared all my running apps 2- restarted my phone Of course, since I bought Rage HD means that I have an iPhone 4 with the latest firmware. Help please? EDIT: Ok, I read the other thread from John C. My iPhone is in French. I tried English and it worked fine. Can't wait for a fox though.

Review is up. Even with some criticism... I'm surprised. But wow. This review is SHORT - or may I call it lazy?! The other articles about this game seemed longer and I was expecting a huge article with lots of info, pics and so on. It also ends pretty abruptly. Strange. EDIT: OK, it's gone, so I guess, it wasn't the complete review

Hahaha, the best final joke after release of the game. First, people are told holy John is listening for suggestions and then he says, this game won't see any feature updates. Hahaha, so sad it's funny.
