If so, the only explanation is that Carmack has no clue what the gyros are or how they're supposed to work, because they are NOT supported in either the tilt or touch control options.

Coulda given him some tips... - Ditch Id and get a development team with the talent to make great games on his engines. - People do not like rail shooters but at the arcade. (I'm sure a few people will claim they prefer them over having full control now though) - No more creating cheesy fake game shows like what Dead Rising 2 did for the MP. It's not funny, it doesn't create good story and it just makes everyone cringe at it. Every time you get the announcer on these game shows pop on, people just try to skip it out of embarrassment. What Carmack should do is create the tools for other people to make games on the iPhone. Maybe them Gameloft games would be fun... though they still need to hire people who can create something original.
