Not sure why thats on there, but I really think any game that I've played over an hr in one sitting could be placed on that list.
THANK YOU! And am I the only one that thinks Fieldrunners has been snubbed... TWICE! At least Infinity Gene was on the last list. And Red Conquest? Does IGN just hate Strategy games?
I already have Jet Car Stunts, and I agree that it is one of the best purchases you can make in the app store. I've been meaning to pick up Hook Champ for a while now, not sure about Drop7. And as for GTA: Chinatown Wars and Pheonix Wright... Played the demo of Chinatown Wars, liked it, but the controls seemed a little iffy to me. Pheonix Wright: Hmm... will have to look into that one.
Phoenix wright gets on my nerves. You can't turn off the reeeeally annoying typing sound or skip through the animated slow typing of the text. It's So infuriating I can't play it for log at all, even on mute!
Hook Champ is a fantastic purchase, you can't go wrong. Drop7 is a very casual puzzle kind of game. It's much more like tetris than a traditional puzzle game. No time limits, no crazy powerups, so you can play it with one hand and still put up high scores. The chain reactions are very cool and once you start thinking about them you'll start setting yourself up for chain reactions. The best comparison would be to tetris, addicting, simple, and fun. Controls really pushed me away from GTA, but the content and polish in all other aspects of the game are unmatched in the app store. Phoenix Wright. If you have ever read a book and liked it. You will love this. It's like a book, you need to finish it because you neeed to know what happens next. But it takes it one step further and makes you the protagonist, so you actually think about decisions in an analytical way. There is also a lot of character development, if you like that kind of thing. And I mean come on, it was like $30 on the DS
Your not the only one, Fieldrunners is a good little app. I'm still hooked on Dig It, it's another oldie but goodie that I can easily clock an hour on.
