Those games are even worse, I know they're good, but they're tricking people to thinking its free when you actually have to buy an IAP to unlock the game. The IAP is usually more expensive than a normal game but people buy it anyway because they already installed it. I know I'm missing out but If I don't want to buy something, I don't. I have so many games anyway.
Dewd, do you really download a free app and expect it to be ... well, free? Especially a high profile title like TWD? Ain't nobodeh trickin anybodeh here, just you my man, just you But true, there are many good paid games. Surely you can keep playing those game you bought. But I'm willing to bet at least one of them has optional IAP. Yet to you they're all good right? So why does IAP have to be despicable when it's in a free app? Like I said, you won't get anything for free. I'm trying to tell you that you should be more open-minded about IAP. It doesn't equal pay2win. Other than that, no hard feeling dewd.
LOL. Tricking people? That's just you being paranoid. I dont blame you though. There are crappy apps that do something similar, but has shadier components included. I guess it's useless to talk to close-minded people about IAPs... Especially ones that think The Walking Dead's IAP structure are the worst types.
Not a bad game but wouldn't pay for it. As for IAPs, nothing wrong with them, sure they can and are abused by developers but not buying a game because of non-game breaking IAPs is just ridiculous. You don't HAVE to buy anything if the game is doing IAPs right, they should make you WANT to buy them because of the enjoyable experience you're getting. Also, episodic content is not an IAP, c'mon now.
Fun for a about an hour, after that I kept playing purely because of the Batman license. Good job it's free.
You need to follow this link: http://www.ign.com/prime/promo/batman-free And get a promo code from IGN to get it free.
Not really for the devs. The app size may scare off some potential buyers. Releasing apps by episodes also allows small studios/indie devs to gather players' thought of their initial game, generate some buzz and continue making games while getting some income. And sometimes, episodes are just a way to name a sequel. Btw we are waaaaaaay off the point of this thread.
Is there a way to back-up IAP's manually? Because what if a game is removed from the AppStore for any particular reason.. It can be risky, as the game is not fully yours, as to buying a full game and making a back-up of it.
First of all, why ask here? Second, just backup the game with IAP content already installed. This is my last post here. Feel like I'm the one derailing the thread ( ._.)
