I wouldn´t mind Gameloft copying popular games if they would at least do them proper. For example, i´ve bought Solomon´s Keep (Raptisoft), which is a quality indie title all around. I´ve bought both Dungeon Hunter (Gameloft) Games too. Dungeon Hunter pales in comparison to the level of quality the original Diablo has offered gamers back in the days. Gameloft games do look good or even great GFX wise, i have to give them that. They are eye candy, showing what the device is capable of putting off. But that´s about it. Just imagine Blizzard porting Diablo to the iPhone. No one would bother with Dungeon Hunter anymore. Same with Halo, no one would put up with Nova. Let´s face it, their games can´t hold a candle compared to the original titles. That´s my gripe with Gameloft. Most of the time they do shallow ports of popular games, streamlined for the mass market. They are successful, sure. But their titles do lack quality and depth all around.
Gameloft has the highest quality and depth out of any Developer. Gameloft's apps have the highest quality and depth. Occasionally a app will shine, but Gamelofts apps shine the brightest.
The thing is that no one can make a game of that quality. Name a good Diablo and Nova clone on the AppStore for me please. I can assure you that I'll be the first to hit the buy button even if the asking price for each is $19.99. They're not supposed to hold a candle against console game. As I've stated, if you're going to compare Gameloft's games, compare them appropriately.

Well finally some one said it!!!! I never understood the "angryness" about what game loft does I'm glad they do it, I'm goons play a zombie approuch to red dead redemption soon and who did not like "RDR" I my self have more then one gameloft game on me idevices, Im sure you do to if you take a closer look, and I'm sure there will be more, go gameloft go....try to imagin how app store would look like if there were no gameloft!?
