iGem ($2.99 - 6.8 MB), along with its Lite version, is a new match-3 game alike approach where you swap a gem in any direction in order to join 4 or more of them to build a bigger one. Once built just tap to score. Build more than one bigger gem to get combos. All that while new gems are falling from the top. Finally the game has some interesting on demand power-ups (bottom right button) tilt based.

Interface, graphics and animations are really nice.

Tho it does not have background music it has subtle sounds (you can turn on/off).

The game also includes online high score.

So far I'm enjoying the game. 4/5 (first impression).

I've found that power-ups are tilt based. Interesting touch.

By the way, did anyone here try the lite (free) version?

I played the lite earlier today and really found it enjoyable, got thru all 20 levels in lite version was just challenging enough and fun and the puzzle mode was fun and cool too. Prob wont buy it right away but its on my watch list.

When it comes to puzzle games, Crayon Ball beats all imo.
