I´m a long time iPhone User, owning a great range of different games. Here is my list: 1. Wolfenstein 3D - Still lovin it after all these years. Now rocking with Retina. 2. Tilestorm - Great value, did almost beat it. I´m on my second run now. 3. PushPixPull - Sudoku meets Sokoban. Very unique, very stylish. A truly underrated gem. 4. Zen Bound 2 - Who doesn´t enjoy wrapping rope around wodden objects? Hey, don´t look at me, I´m lovin it. 5. Puzzle Quest 2 - Oh my god, the addiction. Just one more monster to beat.
1: fruit ninja Need this game 2: doodle jump 3: gangster 2 Need a 3d open world game 4:aralon An awesome , open world 5: modern combat 2 Need fps or I will kill myself
In no particular order, chosen for length of time it would take to complete them: Plants vs Zombies - it will take ages to collect all plants for the Zen Garden. Tiny Tower - it will take ages to build all possible floors. Defender Chronicles - it will take ages to finish all levels on the hardest difficulty. Crosswords - this has thousands of crosswords if you download all the back catalogue for all the newspapers. The Creeps! - finishing all levels on all difficulties will take a long time.
Here's my list, pretty much these are the most played games I have! 1. NOVA 2---awesome fps, great campaign that I still need to finish (probly not even halfway through) and purely AMAZING multiplayer that makes it a ton of fun. 2. League of Evil---best platformer on iOS, tons of levels, almost endless replayability, and tons of fun! 3. Fruit Ninja---my favorite of the games that always stay on top (angry birds, tiny wings, etc) because it's actually FUN. Four modes, including multiplayer, and lots of time on my hands means this game gets a special slot on this list. 4. Sonic Racing---hard to decide between this and Asphalt 6, but since I stopped progressing (hit a dead end early on) in the single player it goes to Sonic. Multiplayer, battle mode, grand prix, single race, missions...it's got it all. And I need a fun racing game. 5. I'm gonna put this slot as a toss-up. I seriously would be happy with the other four, but I'd go with Temple Run, Lego HP, or Conquist 2 for the last slot...
So for me, this is more about the games, genres that I always come back to, regardless of what the newest game that is coming out Crosswords - love crossword puzzles, and this gives you an endless supply (Crux is a worthy alternate) Jumbline 2 - best of the word unscramblers in my opinion PathPix series Solitaire game - I think Solitaire City Deluxe is the best, but Solitaire Pro has like 700 variations - hard to beat for sheer quantity Match 3 - hard choice here - Puzzle Quest 1 or 2, and Montezuma Revenge 1 or 2 Got to have a dual shooter - Infinity Field for me is my favorite Also have to have an RPG - Final Fantasy 10 is not available on iOS, so FF3 Sorry for exceeding the limit.
Hmm, this is a hard decision to make... Prince of Persia: Warrior Within - Open world-ish, acrobatics, good combat, it's a jack-of-all-trades action game. Amazing Breaker - Amazingly beautiful and very fun puzzle game with lots of levels. Phoenix HD - Endless shooter that looks and plays amazingly, and it's in my opinion the best top down shooter on the appstore...yes, even better than cave's. Mission Europa: CE - This is for my FPS fix, it may not look that pretty but it plays great and is loads of fun. I've already sunk a full 25hrs into it, so I think I'll get a few more in Plants Vs. Zombies - This one will satisfy my tower defense and zombie cravings, plus it's fun as hell. Well, that was tough, but I think if I could only have 5 games, these would be them, for sure.
I love this thread, and would like to see it resurrected. If you could only have 5 games, what would they be? Mine: Dungeon Raid Forget Me Not Bumpy Road Plants vs Zombies Super Hexagon
I tried to avoid recent games. Jet Car Stunts Repulze Outwitters Reckless Racing 2 Super Crate Box Honorable mention: Mines In Space - Anyone remember this game? Horribly outdated now... predates iPads, retina, and 4-inch displays with no updates in years. It takes traditional minesweeper mechanics and twists them in a lot of really clever ways. I keep it around because I loved it and have a lot of progress that won't be synced to anything but can't bear to open it... it just looks like fried ass on newer devices. : (
Oooh... Plants vs Zombies - for my tower defence fix Swordigo - for my adventure fix Trainyard - for my puzzle fix Magic 2013 - just because Canabalt - got pure score smashing.
Walking dead: The game ( almost cried ) The bard's tale ( Played for over 15 hours) Kairosoft games( each took me for 5 hours at least) Ravensword 2 ( I love Skyrim) Infinity blade series ( nuff said)
Mushihimesama Bug Panic Solomon's Keep Revenge of the Rob-O-Bot Super Crossfire HD Can't decide for the last one between Gridrunner, Minotaur Rescue, King of the Dragon Pass, Lords of Midnight or Deathsmiles...
Real racing 2 COD zombies Minigore 2 Block fortress Dice soccer! Original by lambda mu (it actually works)
-These can take advantage of community content for nigh infinite enjoyment- Battle for Wesnoth Frogatto Goat Up 2 Growtopia Dink Smallwood
Minecraft PE (would not get old even after 100 years) Jet Car Stunts Mutant Mudds (extremely hard platformer - it will take me forever to finish this game) Fruit Ninja Block Fortress (TD for the minecraft nerd) If I could bend the rules and have 6: Infinity Field (acid tripped on acid, incredibly beautiful dual stick shooter)
This is actually a good idea, for me usually too much game == won't play anything. Anyway my pick is: 1. Deathsmiles: I always can't get bored playing this. Replaying story, characters, smartphone modes.. there's always something to keep me busy. 2. Phoenix HD: My go-to snacking game. It's always fun having 5 minutes of blowing and avoiding stuffs in this endless SHMUP. 3. The Worlds Ends with You: Because I haven't beat this yet, keeping this as one of the five will actually makes me play it. 4. Final Fantasy 4: Same case as TWEWY. 5. Beat Sneak Bandit: My go-to game if I want to challenge/torture myself. Also haven't beat this yet because sometimes it's frustating as hell.
If they were iphone 5 supported: - Demon Hunter: Return of the wings - Anthing from Kairosoft And: - Galaxy on fire 2 - Some space theme RTS - Some rpg/arpg/krpg
1. Grand Theft Auto 3 as you can play lots without getting bored 2. Contre Jour cause its my favorite puzzler on ios 3. Metal Slug 3 for all my distructive needs 4. Mikey Shorts as its my favorite platformer (with Rayman and League of Evil coming close behind) 5. MineCraft Pocket Edition because after all the updates it really is a lot of fun!
