Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the barbarian needs to remain stationary to attack? This doesn't seem to be the case with the witch.
Well on diablo or torchlight that's the case for Melee combat...It never bothered me.. Edit:Wow,I just realized an update is live..These guys are lightning fast...2 updates on an opening week, how uncanny..how did they manage to slip the review process??
Perhaps you are right, for some reason it just feels really choppy. It just seems like there is an unnaturally long delay after swinging your weapon when you are unable to move, attack, or do anything. Nonetheless, I think the game is a very good one.
As most of you noticed, an update fixing the bugs is now live. We would like to publicly thank Apple Revision Team for their outstanding support and generosity. If it weren't for these guys we'd all be stuck with crashing cemetery for the next week.
Did they fix the save problem? I downloaded the game but am afraid to start after hearing people losing an hour of playtime from poor save mechanics
Love the game. But... still getting crashes. Admittedly not as many as the initial offering and the first update. Can't wait until they fix that. Also, would be helpful if the jump gate had some sort of confirmation (or a label) of where you're going so you don't have to memorize where the positions go. Having to jump several times to get where you need to go is painful after a while. Have also had a few times where a monster wouldn't die properly. Wouldn't cause any more damage, but my summoned Soulmate familiars would keep on "beating a dead horse" as it where. And still having a few times where the auto-aim would fail to work. I'd be shooting off into the trees even with a monster right next to me until I moved a couple of steps away or changed direction. And even then sometimes it wouldn't work. Looking forward to a few more iterations of bug fixes for a very enjoyable game.
Man I am stoked that you guys got the cemetary thing fixed so fast. That was worth my purchase alone to see how fast you guys did that!
I'm sorry but I remember quite well when I used a paladin on diablo 2..When I click on an enemy to attack he stays put to where he is untilI either I click him away or the enemy's dead... Hey on torchlight 1 or 2 even ranged attackers will pause to take a shot before you can move..
every developer gets a small amount of expedited reviews. So you can push out an update in less then 24h if somebody find a critical bug.But if you run out of this reviews...theres nothing more you can do than wait for a normal review. https://developer.apple.com/support/appstore/app-review/
So after playing a bit more, I am really confused. The summoning spell actually lets you summon less amounts the higher up it goes? I could have up to 5 spiders and 5 wolves, but only 2 then 3 trolls? The spiders seemed superior too since they had a wider attack range. If you choose to go back to wolves or spiders it only lets you summon 2 / 3 respectively. Which was a huge downgrade. Can't really see much with the trolls either with post processing. So I want to respec go back to just the spiders so I could summon 5, but it seems like I never have enough gold. Which would be ok if he actually told how much gold you needed. The graphics slider also doesn't hold to the last option anymore after this patch. Post processing actually makes certain areas so bright / vibrant/ orange that it is difficult to see on a iphone 5. Any way that could be toned down a bit?
Wow, do I feel stupid. I've been getting loot, but didn't realize that putting "highlight" on actually shows you where and what it is. I thought it was just to highlight smashable objects like barrells so I kept it off. Now that I've turned it on, it makes me wonder what loot I've been missing. Great game overall. I'm not too far in but that worm boss is a bitch.
