This game is amazing, it needs some work, but it's a solid action rpg. Much better than dungeon hunter, IMO. Just wish it hadn't gone down to .99 kinda pisses on everyone who supported early and later on.
I'm really enjoying it. Though it seems pretty crash happy on my iPad Mini after I got to a certain point, seems like others are having the same issues reading the iTunes reviews. Stopped playing it because of that. Hopefully the developers will update it soon for iOS 7
Hi, The issue with system indicators, the problem with Witch quest crashes and Niguma quest are fixed in an update that we sent last Friday. Apple takes around 5 days to review it so it should be available really really soon.
Well, the app description says it won't run on an iPhone 4 or original iPad, so it'd generally be in the best interest of the developer to simply reiterate that rather than give you hope that might turn out to be false. By giving somebody hope that it might work on a device they've previously said it won't, they're really just opening themselves up to negative feedback and one-star reviews if that person decides to risk it and ends up with a game that performs poorly or not at all.
It's just a sale. If you thought it was such a great game, you should be glad you got in on the ground floor and paid full price to show the dev's they did good. Plus, given how long it's taken for them to put it on a /temporary/ sale price, I really don't think anyone's getting pissed on.
This thread has convinced me. I've been wanting a good dungeon hacking game to follow Dungeon Hunter 2 - and I never quite managed to enjoy Orc: Vengance.
Orc: Vengeance had little content and a short campaign, but it was the most polished dungeon crawling game in the App Store, while Iesabel has a lot more of content but it isn't as polished as Orc (tons of bugs and glitches; one of them is just going throw the first locked door you find right after starting the game). If the dev fixes all these bugs, makes a better GUI for the menus and improves localization, this could be the best Diablo-like game in the App Store, but right now Orc: Vengeance is a much better choice IMO.
Just bought it. When I try and create a new character, it am unable to edit the name. It looks like the time/battery/provider header is showing through the game not allowing interaction with the top row of buttons. Anyway, started a "Enter Name" character. Game looks good. Has anyone tried playing with an Android users? Thanks
To everyone complaining about bugs, just refer to this post.i assume this guy is actually from the dev team and isn't just here to troll. The big issues is has right now we're caused by the last update and the new iOS7. As someone else had already pointed out, I'm sure they're timing this sale price to come with an update so as to shoot this game back up the charts.
Also, seriously guys? Orc: Vengeance is just a pretty girl with no brain. That game was incredibly boring. Sure, it looked REAL nice, but the gameplay was so dull! The Orc was absolutely zero fun to play with. His attacks remained the same, his movement was responsive but still sluggish. And there's no equipment drops in the game. It really felt like i was just run if forward, seeing a monster, tap a single button several times, then move forward. No strategy, no tactics, no reflexes, and not even a tantalizing reward to keep me going was ever involved. I really don't understand why everyone likes that game so much. It looked nice, but had nothing interesting to offer the moment you actually started playing.
That's from the later update, but they update every month. You should still get it if you like diablo like games.
I feel mostly the same, the story was good, but combat was weak especially on boss fights. In my eye solitary only a level or so above gods: uprising.
The 3.01 update just went live, but I'm not seeing anything about bug fixes in the patch notes. Anything from the dev on this?
Yeah. Very pretty, but I found the game tedious. Also it only showed you your health when it felt like so I never knew if I was at death's door.
