iDrop Dead

We haven't done them yet, as still no word from Apple concerning the game. But let's see, perhaps we'll make the shirts available via some www-tshirt -shop?

 

Hey, thanks for the tip! We were thinking about printing the shirts locally and posting them ourselves, but using Cafepress instead would leave more time for game development. Let's see, still no word from Apple...

 

Ouch, it seems that if we did the t-shirts via Cafepress, they'd cost quite a lot for the customer, so I think we'll do the shirts ourselves, at least initially.

Also, managed to optimize the particles a lot more, so the first update will run better than v1.0.0.

 

XD I wonder if other companies want to see their characters in iDrop Dead... Hey, why not!? I could at least ask...

 

Aah, ok, gotta spend some time on research then. We still might do a special limited edition t-shirt just for the fun of it and so we could give something special to the competition winners...

Or at least that's what Apple told me in their email. Might take a few hours before the game is globally out. Anyway, we'll submit the first update to Apple tomorrow, it's going to make the game better, cooler, bigger, more beautiful, and enlarge the explosions as well. Gotta get back to work, I'll post the news with images around the Internets after we get that first update done. And we haven't forgotten that "design a character" competition! More info tomorrow...

 

I hope you like it. Anyway, we have big plans for the game, lots of updates in the pipeline... And I'm currently trying to find out if e.g. John Gore from MiniGore would want to appear in iDrop Dead.

 

It's great that Apple approved the game!

And we'll host a design-a-character competition really soon with nice prizes. I think we'll randomly give away free promo codes to the game to people who participate, but more about that tomorrow.
