I have 2 ideas they will probably both probably stink but hey who knows why not try also do ipod games program in python?
Well you never know until you try. iPod game in Python? That would be too much trouble I think. We've got a working C/C++/Objective-C framework here with all the things we need... Changing to something else would be waste of time.
Kk just wondering because thats what i heard it was programed by a guy and im doimg python and 2 languages and wondering if i should try ipod game developing. å <--
I'm sure you can do simple and even complex games using Python, just don't expect C-class performance from it.
i want there to be more submissions... but i also hope i get a promo code xP so if no one enters, il still be happy xP
Crap i forgot i didnt put my disk drive in yet so i guess ill have to use paint :/ wont look as close to what i was planning on it looking like :\
They gave us too much time. There are 10 days left and I'm lazy, so I estimate I'll start drawing something in about... 8-9 days.
Of course, but that's the reason I haven't even started yet. I've got a bunch of ideas, I just can't be bothered to draw anything out right now.
nice reminds me of pictures of britain during the air raids in my history book lol and i might try a background if that doesnt go to well i may just do an object
Ouch, it's going to be hard to mirror that image upside down... But we could always do like we've done in the Winter levels, just mirror it horizontally and don't make levels that scroll much up and down... But the color scheme is great, and the image stays in the background quite well, I think, if you put game sprites on top of that. War theme could be all (almost) black and white with a film grain effect?
that would be cool! like old war films and such. That would look pretty cool. Maybe even have a "WW3" level later on thats in color and futuristic
See!?! It could work perfect! haha, just edit the default bear to have half of a face or have the (im going to call it "hurt face"..) hurt face have half the face with a red eye that would be cool
Question! I've got quite a few objects in mind now and I was wondering if I actually have to desgin all of the finished versions or if I can just sketch a few blueprints to show you my ideas. I'll draw the main one I'm entering in the competition but I don't want to waste the other ones either.
