I have the same problem - can't type in QModem-Terminal mode - everything seems right, ComPort is on 1 - in Dospad-Config & QModem-Setup. Tried everything, please help! Maybe it doesn't work on my non-jailbreak-Version ? Latest one, before it leaves the application store ?
Sorry to revive an old post, but I've tried this with both QModem and ProComm. Is this information still up to date? When I hit Return, it either goes to the beginning of the line that I was typing or it goes to the next line (depending on whether I've got CR or CRLF on). Am I missing something obvious? Is there a wiki? Can I possibly ask more questions? Thanks.
Yeah, sorry. I thought about bringing it back online for another go when iDOS showed up again, but everyone seemed to have things well in hand with Phone Explorer. Maybe if the author ever manages to get it approved again, I can quietly turn the BBS back on and pass around a method of getting the modem software on the device...
Help on installing Space Quest Hi guys, the moment I knew about iDos I thought Space Quest! I can see by this huge thread that some of you have managed to install it on iDos. I was nevar a IBM PC boy, I was a Apple II boy but DOS is DOS anyway. I got SQ from some torrent and got it inside iDOS using DiskAid under OS X Lion. The problem is: I cant get SQ to install, it always give me errors like: "illegal command: makepath" How do I get SQ to work on iDOS??
windows 95 & 3.1 no longer works.. I figured out how to make win95 work, you need to modify imgmount from D to E as d is already mounted for some reason. No idea about Win3.1 - if I manually unpack the zip and run setup, windows setup cannot create C:\WINDOWS It really feels like the developer has crippled dospad on purpose. EDIT: Apparently dospad no longer has access to anything, cannot create directory..
dude can u please guide me through on how to mount it fallout ??? cause i don't know the commands and i put fallout.iso in the games folder
Won't work as Fallout is far too new and has very high system requirements (for DOS: Pentium 90 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 2x CD-ROM, SVGA, SoundBlaster-compatible sound card.).
??? why??? the ipad 2 has a 1GHz dual-core A5 CPU i can deal with the lag if i that's what youre saying

Yep it still works. I used iExplorer to add a new module to Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures and it worked fine.
Apologies to revive an ancient thread, but if there's one place I'm sure i can get help on this, it's here! Has anyone managed to run Tomb Raider at a decent frame rate? I've altered the config file to have the CPU Cycles at 5000, but even if i raise it to 25000 it's still the same slideshow effect. Any help is much appreciated!
