I'm having trouble getting my old copy of Ancient Art of War to run. Has anyone else got it to run?

Has anybody already tested this?

Can someone please, for the love of god, test this?

Does anyone know a link, or is able to give good directions on how to mount windows using idos? If I can get ultimo on here I'm gonna freak! Ty

 

OMG. Wacky Wheels! Wow. I missed this but I'm going to complie from source tonight or tomorrow. I'm sure I can find a copy somewhere.

 

Someone provided really detailed directions within the last 30 or so posts. THats what I used.

 

Just tried running Dark Seed. I got to see the opening sequence and what not but then ended up getting a big grainy mess. Pics below.

Got Ultima VII running on my 3G, too slow to really play though!

I spoke to Iolo, went in the stable to look at the murder scene and talked to the mayor...then I couldn't stand the lag any longer! Still, it gave me shivers and made me long for Exult on an idevice!

 

oki, not tried many but with no tweaking ive run ..

eye of the beholder - flawless
championship manager 93 - flawless
SWOS - works fine but impossible on iphone/keys
outrun - perhaps not quite full speed but otherwise just fine
day of the tentacle - flawless
future wars - flawless
micro machines 2 - doesnt work
jumpman - might need tweaking as it seems incredibly slow
stunt car racer - flawless
arcade pool - flawless

when i say flawless, in some cases perhaps a notch slower (hard to tell) or stuttery sound, but perfectly playable.

need some general threads really. idos for beginners and one for game compatibility or setting requirements. getting a bit clogged with stuff this thread now

 

Ok guys I'm going to compile a tutorial and game list tonight go ahead and PM me any tips tricks shortcuts and also what games are compatible and what settings used. If a game is unplayable please don't send it to me. We only want the games that work and what settings are needed. I'm not the best at dos but I'll do my best!

 

I'm curious if there is a way to copy files to the System folder in the iOS filesystem. DOS doesn't have a "sudo" command, does it?

Probably already knew this but Day Of The Tentacle works flawlessly with default settings.

 

Anyone get Full Throttle or Grim Fandango going yet?

 

I got a Fallout iso in my directory, and mounted it using Z:\IMGMOUNT E C:\fallout.iso -t iso

Then ran the install.exe, but in the menu to select install size and drive, it says there are no drives.
Manually setting the install director to C:\ didn't help either.

 

And please don't forget to mention which device you test the games on. It's kind of important.
