How can alone in the dark run at 90% but not Fallout? Also, coudln't get this in time, so I installed DOSPAD on my 1st generation. Wow, it runs slow for me. I mean, just Mario even. Neat though.
Just to throw my hat in- I got outrun to work :-D Just to add to the list NFS: Works but its unplayably slow OUTRUN: Works, speed is like 80% OREGON TRAIL: Works, and is way better than that stupid port that came out recently
Yeah, it Ms. Pac-Man runs extremely slow on my iPhone 2G (first generation). I visited a download page and loaded a free Mario game for DOS. Where do I now put the .exe file (there is no file sharing in iTunes, at least it doesn't show up when I plug in my iPhone) and how can I load it with iDOS? Thanks for help. I never used DOS. My first computer was an Apple Macintosh Performa 5300, guess it was 1995. ;-)
I actually forgot those princess maker games they were probably as addictive as Game Dev Story and actually quite similar in fact thinking about it I'm going to have to try that one myself again. Eye of the beholder works quite well that was my last experiment but I got discworld working as well but to slow to be playable and the speech didn't work I think there may be a way to fix that though.
So, is this the most irregular app EVER approved in the AppStore or what? Count 'em: 1) Unlicensed copy of an operating system that; 2) Runs outside code, and; 3) Allows (limited, but still) root access, and finally; 4) To make matters worse, the dev included unlicensed games with the app.
I'm not sure how to load files on it. The free mario game came with DOSPAD, the jailbroken version of this app. It also has Digger. Neither of them are playable on the 2G. Dosbox PC has a way to speed things up, but I don't really know how to make that work here. I thought it was f11, but it didn't make a difference. I think it's just that the 2G isn't fast enough.
I just installed Windows 3.1. Hehehehe. And it runs surprisingly well. Instructions: - take the ISO of Windows 3.1 that you've been saving for all these years and copy it into iDOS. - Use this hideous looking command to mount it: Z:\IMGMOUNT E C:\WINISO.ISO -t iso - Go to E: and start setup - Install - Close iDOS completely or "reboot" - Start iDOS and type in win
I don't think so. The app has to be written specifically to support file sharing. I seem to recall something about file sharing for downloaded files within Safari though, but this might only be for specific filetypes that Safari supports (i.e. PDF or DOC or whatever.)
