so any one else not seeing file sharing in itunes 10? i go to apps and nothing just the normal apps screen im used to seeing cant scroll down or anything...is it because i need this app to enable the feature or what?

 

Is there somewhere with a walkthrough on how to install/unzip roms? I've gotten Dosbox to work on my Mac but having a little trouble with this.

Yes, it seems to be an app-enabled feature. If you use iBooks, Stanza, etc, you should see this entry near the bottom of the "App" tab of the iTunes.

i dont get it, i re-dl the stupid winnie the poo book and still no file sharing option...does file sharing not work on the ipod touches? and only iphones and ipads?

rofl win 3.1 is 16bit not 32 bit for one....16 bit with 32 bit emulation was 95 and 98 true 32 bit came with windows god awful me ,2000 and xp...

 

Could somebody please tell me what I'm supposed to write in the cfg file? If you could just copy and paste what you have written in there that would be nice.

 

Same here, with iPod Touch 4, this is how it works for me:

Download the iDOS app on the iTunes (PC / Mac) you are syncing with (if you have purchased downloaded on another PC/Mac, you can copy the ipa file to this PC/Mac);
Connect your iDevce to that PC / Mac;
Select the iDevice on the left;
Select to App tab;
Check the "Sync Apps" option on the top left;
Install iDOS app to your iDevice first;
Scroll all the way down of the page (not your list of apps) and you should see the option of putting files, if you have VLC player/iBooks/Stanza/etc installed on your device., the function is enabled there;
Select the iDOS entry and drag-and-drop your file(s) to it. (Only files work on OSX, not folders)

i think it depends on the game, certain games use different settings to make them run better, + it depends on the device being used as well... as higher cycles on lower end device would use more cpu/memory which would cause slow down....

Noticed a problem with civilization. I cant find diagonal arrows, and as a result I can't move units diagonally. Any hints? This should effect many difft games.

 

right they have to be zips....ok so this app enabled the feature basically...makes sense, the problem with this app however is piracy central emulators etc apple had to yank it and i wont jail break my touch 4...

 

OMFG that is the best game ever made right there, love it!!!!! had some of the best mod music EVER.... Dont F with the SPATHI!!!! hahaha...the best music is the Earth space station tho...Urquan, ilwraths, syreens, chyhmmr. orz (one of my favs) , airlou, , pkunk ( one of the best ships if you die with full power instant rez) , druug, mycons...percursors...god memories right there easily spent 100 hours on that game....(hack to turn off the timer)
