Universal iDOS 2 - DOS Emulator (by Litchie)

Have Day of the Tentacle running, but I wish iDOS supported background processing so that it didn't reset every time you quit...

 

Is there a file called install?

 

It's not full root access though... all app folders should be displayed here, but only the application folder for idos displays:

 

Or setup .exe?

 

Anybody got doom2 running? I git a freeze on the welcome screen.

And ... Anybody managed to mount a USB stick already and move files to for example good reader )))

 

mine doesnt reset when I quit. I have to close it from the multi task bar to reset it

 

man those screenshots got me excited. can't wait to sink my teeth into this bad boy.

 

For those having trouble unzipping try this format: unzip \keen4.zip
That is put a backslash in front of the zip name
And don't forget this DOSBox has the Windows NT shortcuts like TAB to autocomplete file and directory names

 

I dont need the basic functions i just want to know how to unzip a game but no matter what i do i keep on getting the file not found message

my iphone & ipad is both JB but I can't find the app. I tried searching for idos & dospad. can someone provide the name & source?

 

typing unzip will only work if you're currently in the folder where the zip file exists. others have posted in this thread how to use the CD command to change to the directory where the zip file exists

 

ok are there any games without speed issues? I have tried both Warcraft 2 and Ultima VIII but they are both unplayable

rename your .zip to .ZIP before dragging it to itunes and try again
(it will show up in c:/ and not in c:/games)

Ha. I have also been mixing up ls and dir.

 

I did but even then i cant get it to unzip even folling the directions given in this forum doesnt work

 

For any developers, there is a development version available:

svn checkout http://dospad.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ dospad-read-only

 

If you're in the directory with the dizzy3.zip file, "del dizzy3.zip" should do it. You can also probably do it via File Sharing (I haven't actually used File Sharing before for anything, and I'm at work now so I can't check).
