Question: since i downloaded this straight onto my iPad, what happens if I need to restore it for whatever reason now that it's been pulled? Is there any way to re-download an app thAt has been pulled if you've paid for it?
Okay I unzipped the file, but when I type dir to explore the games directory it's still listing it as a zip file. Any ideas or pointers as to what I'm doing wrong? :\
Turbo C Installed & Compiling Graphics Example Well.. it's official, you can install & compile C programs with iDOS. Here's some screen shots of Borland Turbo C 2.0 Running, including the compilation & execution of the included BGIDEMO app that came with the compiler.
I couldn't find it when I searched on my phone but it was still available on iTunes, looks like I got it in the nick of time!

Sweet lord, I didn't even think of this initially, but has anyone got "Wasteland" up and running? If that works I literally don't think I'll need another app... ever.
That would be great if someone could figure that out! I'm not sure. I took the long route. I transferred the dn151.zip file to my iPod with iTunes, made a directory through iDOS called dn by typing md dn. I copied the zip file into the dn folder with copy dn151.zip dn. And then I extracted it there. A little more about DOS Navigator: It can also unzip, zip, split, and combine files. It has rar support, and I think it can read disc images.
In under the wire! Picked it up on my phone while I was out. Tried to get it on my iPad - 'no longer available'. Whew!
Just back up the .ipa file. Now that you have it, it can't be taken away, but you won't be able to download it again through the iTunes store.
Oh crap... Gotta get that one up and running. I'll consider that the number one game I NEED to get running.
I dragged a .exe using file transfer but I can't get it into the games folder and on my ipod I can't see the files I have dragged there. How do I get them to appear? NM i restarted it
We should start creating batch files to copy/unzip/and run files for people that are having problems.
glad I snagged this in time. I'm anxiously waiting for news that Return to Zork and Blake Stone are playable. until I can try myself anyways.
