Hi, I just finished Idle Guardians. It's an idle RPG, please check it out! https://itunes.apple.com/app/apple-store/id1424632297 I feel like a lot of these types of games are either too simple or require too much micromanagement. I tried to find a balance. It's easy to start playing but if you want to really dig into the systems and optimize your progress there are many avenues for that. As you get further into the game more of the mechanics reveal themselves. Game info: You recruit heroes, battle monsters, get loot. Normal stuff all of these games have. You create your 5 hero team based on the encounters. Bosses and areas have different strengths and weaknesses, using the right setup helps with progression. All heroes stay valuable. You never recruit 'better' heroes that make your existing heroes obsolete (or have you turn them into some kind of horrible 'material' that other heroes ingest to evolve them into super heroes or something). You continue to upgrade your heroes forever. Multiple prestige systems. I don't want to give all the surprises away or anything so that's all I'll say. Heroes have multiple progression systems. There are 11 different hero classes, each with their own playstyle and abilities. How far the dungeon goes i'm not sure at present im stuck at level 50 (the dungeon does not reset when you reset), looks like i really need some good characters to get over this. Coins to do dungeon have a cool down so once you use one the clock starts ticking down so you get your next one. You start of with 2 but it looks via IAP you increase that amount. One warning and the game never tells you this, when you have your 6 characters and you want to maybe swap in the new one to earn some early gems from it. MAKE sure you reclaim the shards you put into the character you going to swap. The character resets back to level one so thus you lose all the shards you put into that character. As the game says if you keep a balance team this process will be zero otherwise it cost you a few gems. I was starting to think i hit a wall at 200 but since then i gone past that thanks in part cause i managed to get a new character and the random gears drops have seem to pushed me over, so yes you will have to reset a few times before you move on to the next stages. I have blue and orange teams of 5, all are 2* and I can get to level 1500 but not beyond that. The next stage of Evolve requires 100 raid levels - but the raids look like they only give 5 levels at a shot, so do I need to burn 20 coins to get each team to the next Evolution milestone? Be smart with the gems is what i say. doing the dungeon then turn off the auto level as you only wasting it, you can not level up your characters while you doing the dungeon, small things like that.
