See, you have to have a real flair to do wood right. Because if I can see repetition in the wood, it bugs me, and I can't keep it. But what about those icons Paulio? But, how about an original Apple themed wallpaper. I want something that is really original. Achieve epic greatness like kevinanderson's "It's Like Chocolate". Google it. Epicness. Oh, and use matte retro Apple colors. Either matte or use shiny. I don't want bland. Thanks, thats for anyone, not just Paulio.
so, I did a good job? or not? I made that completely, no tutorial there. Just PS knowlege, so I think it's pretty good. I added lighting effects and it's my desktop wallpaper. It looks a lot like Tas Oak which has similar grain lines, so I quite like it. Also, I'll start on the icons soon. I just cracked into the system images the other night. I can change things, like the dock and the bettery charge meter, easily without using any additional RAM. It's awesome. I'll make the apple wp now..

If I may give you a suggestion with your app, don't use danny for your new interface. Its nothing personal, its just that i am sure you could get a better interface from a lot of people in this thread, and that would benefit you and your app.
Yes, it's pretty good, for a first anyway. I like more variety ones, like this, but there is nothing wrong with your's. I think that the crooked rainbow needs to be sharper. And an alt with no words and no slider. I have a completely semi-transparent LockScreen and colored slider images bug me. It's a nice wallpaper, though. And, these are nice, but how about some glossy ones? Just throw the gloss on and don't worry about the rest of the wallpaper. Either use a black or a cream color for the background.
