From what i can tell there's been a bit of chat about compatibility between devices and games in terms of performance, labelling, even whether they work or not. Nowadays i expect most electronic goods i buy to become obsolete within a some kind of timeframe. iPhone is no different, and i knew this when i bought one. Having said that, i would be pretty peeved if Apple didnt maintain backwards compatibility with their devices, at least for a cycle of a few years. With the amount of money that has been spent on Apps (granted they are very reasonably priced) i think it would be a huge disservice (and bad business) if they don't. It could even see me buying another phone, and keeping my old iDevice for games and certain apps. Just my two cents. Curious to hear what anyone else thinks...
