So I liked Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, but I thought the combat was just okay, and everything else made the game great.

From what I hear, this is mainly just a combat based game (with sup-par story and characters). So, is the combat actually fun, or is it identical to the combat in Baldur's Gate?

I'll be playing this, painfully if necessary, on my iphone6. Loved this game back in the day.

Sadly, with just a few minor tweaks and some resizing of some UI elements, BG and ID could both have played wonderfully on on the iPhone 5/5s/6/6+.

Now, character movement, world interaction and targeting work great, sidebars can be interacted with fairly comfortably, but the quickbar and bottom UI elements are finicky to operate.

Well on my 6 plus its ok I guess. Text is a bit small but the graphics are eh. This is definately for hardcore fans I think.

I would personally choose to play this with a mouse and keyboard.

The question is - this or baldur's gate?

Loved Baldur's Gate (only took 10 years and an iPad port to finish it the first time). Would love to hear any impressions of performance for Icewind Dale on an iPad 2 with iOS 8.

Love this game! I downloaded it today and now I'm up to my third round of party creation... Hopefully I can settle on a party by the end of the day... @_@

I loved this game back in the day and will gladly pay twice the price for it. Now unfortunately I'm one of those people unlucky enough to own an iPhone 6 with 4.7" screen. Can someone please tell me if the game is playable on such a small screen. By playable I mean is it more enjoyable then annoying with small UI etc. being able to pause the game helps I guess but would love if someone could drop a few lines about icewind dale impressions on iPhone 6

It works great on iPad2! No problems at all, it feels more polished and smoother than BG2, go for it!

Well I think its not all that enjoyable on a 6 plus so I would say no on a reg 6. Just my opinion man.

Damn... so I'd better save the money? Too bad, I really wanted to play this, sucks to hear that it's such crap on regular iPhone 6. darn.

All I am saying is I dont know if its harder to see or manage a game on a 6 but on my 6 plus I found it a little challenging. Small text and such.
