Hi. May I ask how does the Divide powerup work? Thanks in advance.

    Sure!

When you slice the Divide Power-up, you will get rapidly rotating numbers in the middle of the screen.

Try to slice the highest rotating number and this will create "twins" from that number.

Then you have to quickly slice the "good twin", which is the number that is NOT flipped. This will create a new set of twins.

Keep slicing the "good twin" quickly and you will get more and more twins to slice, which will give you more bonus points.

If you slice the number that is flipped (i.e. the "bad twin") the power-up will stop.

Hope this is clear, otherwise let me know!

I've been trying to post in Touch Arcade for almost an hour, but the server wasn't responding.

The Ice Math Ninja contest ended at 11:59am EST, an hour ago.

I have taken screenshots of all the scores at that time ... and let's just say we have some surprises.

Tomorrow morning I'l be posting the results.

Thank you ALL so much for participating! :)

We have the winners of the Ice Math Ninja Tournament … and we have a complex situation.

The WINNER of the 1st prize of a $50 iTunes Gift Card is …
Marc Edward Dalmacio with an outstanding 164,478 points in Antarctic Add!!!

    The difficult situation is…
Tony Leung got an astonishing 165,254 points in Cool 21!!! BUT his score was posted 24 minutes after close of the Tournament (but since this is such a high score, Tony must have been playing within the time of the tournament).

For this reason we have decided to also give Tony a $50 iTunes Gift Card!!! and he is a CO-WINNER of the first prize!!!

And below is the list of winners in each category:

Winners of $20 iTunes Gift Cards, playing in Normal Mode:

    - Antarctic Add: Alex Kogan 2nd place with 122,515 points.
    - Cool 21: Sabir Lin 2nd place with 49,923 points.
    - Prime Freeze: Julia Leung 1st place with 33,834 points.
    - Ice Factor: Arutiun Mokoian 1st place with 28,500 points.
    - Sub-Zero Bomb: Sammi Marsee 1st place with 22,200 points.
    - Polar Pair: J.v. Santiago 1st place with 15,118 points.
    - Frostris: Mason Jones 1st place with 13,241 points.
    - Sub-Zero Mines: Vinny Jones 3rd place with 7,830 points.

Winners of $10 iTunes Gift Cards, playing in Lightning Mode:

    - Sub-Zero Bomb: James Nolan 1st place with 4,720 points.
    - Antarctic Add: Jackie Cross 2nd place with 3,657 points.
    - Cool 21: Jason White 1st place with 2,919 points.
    - Frostris: Mary Paul 2nd place with 2,755 points.
    - Prime Freeze: Banjo Secondtime 2nd place with 2,595 points.
    - Ice Factor: Jake Branson 2nd place with 2,161 points.
    - Sub-Zero Mines: Angel Navarro Riega 3rd place with 1,771 points.
    - Polar Pair: Maf liee 5th place with 982 points.

*Please note that accounts that belong to Pers can't win prizes, and players that won in 2 games can only receive one prize, so some of the prices have gone to players that are not in 1st place.

We will be contacting all winners later this week to send the prizes.

Tomorrow we'll announce the winner of the raffle between the 10 players that invited the most friends!

    THANK YOU ALL FOR PARTICIPATING!!!!

    m13, I didn't realize you were "Tony"!
Man, you gave me quite the dilemma!

I wasn't sure what to do with the first prize ;) But I think both you and Marc deserved the 1st place, so I think the solution worked out.

Out of curiosity, how long did you busy have to play to reach such scores?

Thanks for a great contest! It really is a fun game!
We are looking forward to the next game(s) you release! ;-)

  17. Since Marc put up a challenge, I responded. I had ~2 hours left when I saw his new score. So it took me ~2 hours 24 minutes. I knew there wasn't enough time but I was going along with the Olympic spirit that "The important thing is not to win, but to take part". What a coincidence that the Ice Math Ninja tournament and the Sochi Games both close out with a bang on the same night!
