@distinctivegames have you considered multiple control methods? like, joystick as the default but also add an option for touch and drag controls maybe. i have no idea how they'd work exactly but maybe something along the lines fo touch a player and drag in the direction you want to move and swipe to hit the puck. something along those lines would be really cool.

Honestly, I'd just be happy if we could customize the player names and numbers, ala Ice Stars. Since there are only 14 teams, I don't think we'll be able to recreate the NHL, but I could be wrong. As long as the game plays well, I'll be happy.

Alot of people asking when the game will come out....they stated that they are taking a bit more time to iron out the kinks. Im sure they will let us know when its submitted! As for my suggestions: I am still curious how the camera angles will be. Meaning....will there be an option to play in landscape OR portriate mode? In most of the hockey video games there are options to play either side to side OR top to bottom. This would be sweet!!
How could you possibly play this game in portrait? The controls would be cramped, and the game would probably take longer to make for both orientations...but a suggestion is a suggestion. It could happen! Hopefully Distinctive will submit soon...i guess they had bugs to get out, since they were hoping to submit last thursday or friday.

Hi all, Sadly, we've not submitted yet. We found some bugs in the tournaments so we're just fixing those up. We'll submit as soon as we're certain they're fixed. To answer some of your other questions... Yes the game has both a league system (using all 14 national teams) and a 'Go for gold' game mode. The league isn't customisable but maybe that's something for an update. There is also an exhibition match, practice and shoot-out modes. You set the difficulty between easy, medium and hard before each exhibition match and at the start of both tournament types. Following feedback here, you can now switch the puck marker, icing and offside on/off. Finally, here's the icon to look out for...
the icon looks great...but i wanna try and design one thats a bit more "exciting". hopefully if you guys like it you could use it!
