The first update is waiting for review, with the following changes: I couldn't reproduce the 'lasers gone mad' bug unfortunately... If you encounter this bug consistently with a specific ship setup, please let me know as it would help a lot.
Big problem. Seems that moving my finger anywhere at the bottom of the screen (where the ship can't move) does not move the ship vertically. Horizontal movement works, vertical does not until I have my finger above that area. And then it's probably blocking the ship. ...Wait, what? It's worse than I thought. That's only if the ship is at the bottom. If it's higher up, putting my finger in the bottom area makes the ship suddenly move down somewhat. I have no idea what's going on with this thing. ...Like I said, if the ship is high enough then putting my finger at the bottom will make it move down... but then vertical movement functions with my finger still at the bottom. (iPhone 6, iOS 8.3) On a different note... I would prefer to trigger bombs by the "tap with other finger while a finger is already on the screen" method some other games have, instead of the double tap (which of course means I can't move and use it at the same time.) Of course, the weird controls issue is more important. Is there a way to sort my inventory?
I had the same problem with strange laser behavior. I was using a Cruiser ship with double cannon and 2 side lasers. When I encounter those ships in chapter 2 with red lasers that fly across the screen, both my ship's and enemy ships' lasers are cut where they cross over and pieces of lasers are drawn in awkward positions on the screen. It also happened in chapter 3 with those 4 ships creating a shrinking rotating square laser pattern. The glitch seems to have disappeared after the update, though. At least for me. I'm running the game on an iPhone 6, iOS 9 beta 3
Can you try changing the input sensitivity and see if that fixes it? I'll see if I can reproduce it. There is no inventory sorting unfortunately. Thanks for the report. I'll do more tests. Do you by any chance have the same input problems as Intendro? Just checking if it might be specific to the iPhone 6/6+.
The control issues are also happening with the sensitivity turned up. 1.2. 1.5. 2.0 (maximum). About the inventory: is there more than one page? First of all, that would be good to know. And it wouldn't be so bad if that was all the inventory to look through... but of course then I can't have as much stuff. Oh, right, I should comment on this... When I get equipment during a stage, an icon of it goes to the bottom right, starting from the top... My instincts kept thinking "An item is flying by! Grab it! Oh wait." But seriously, it would be a good idea for the items to just be instantly shown down there.
Thanks for the heads up! If anyone is having touble interpreting that, this game is on sale for $0.99. I was sort of on hiatus when this was released and completely missed out on it. Icarus-X was one of the premier iOS shmups for a long time back in the day so I instabought this when I saw LWW's post. So far, I really like it. The graphics aren't upgraded much from back in the day, but the gameplay has a lot to offer. I would definitely recommend any fans of the genre who missed out on this to pick it up now.
