The game is awesome. I'm up to level 4 now and have only 2 continues. I assume I'd have to start from the beginning after that.
At first after level 3 I pressed "Play Again" and lost my progress, so don't press it, unless you want to start from level 1.

Edit: I hope that the devs add more levels, because the ones currently in the game are excellent.

That's one of the things that dazzled me and immediately pulled me into the game.

    Isn't it fantastic?

So, who will be the first to unlock Hard mode?
If no one does, I will have to consider making the game easier! :D

I'm really liking this game so far, though I have a tiny tiny issue: For some reason, it's difficult for me to keep track of my ship. I think the background is moving too fast or something, because there is something going on where it's difficult for me to play with my ship.

I don't know how to explain it  But it's just a very tiny thing, like I said, and I'll probably get used to it. The rest of the game has been 100% awesomeness, though

One beta-tester did mention getting motion sickness from the fast scrolling.
Maybe I should put a warning at the beginning of the game. :D

Anyway, if you focus on the action you will get used to it, I think.;)

It is a tad difficult. I can't see a difference from normal and easy, by the way.

This game is beating me like a rented mule, and I am enjoying every second.

A couple questions (which may or may not be obvious):

What does the bar on the upper right of the screen indicate? At first I thought it was enemy wave strength but now I'm unsure.

How are missiles acquired? Is is random or chain-dependant?

Thanks in advance for any info. Great job, developer.

The bar on the right is a missile indicator. Missiles become active when it's full, then go away when you deplete it.

Main differences are (that I can remember):

    Enemies have less health.
On easy you start with 3 lives and they auto regen each level
On normal you start with 2 lives and you get +1 each level you pass

And yes it is hard, but that's fun in this case :D

Enemies killed release blue orbs that fill your missiles bar.
The stronger the enemy the more orbs it will release.

When the bar is full you will hear "Missiles Ready" and see a "Tap Tap Missiles" message on screen.
You can then double tap to launch missiles.

About the difficulty, considering after 24H, no one has beaten the game on Easy, even with Continues ... I will push a quick update with an easier Easy Mode. ;)

I love the game but as mentioned it is hard. But that's half the reason why I love it. One thing I noticed was that whenever I pause it and lock the screen the music keeps playing. Probably an easy fix. And also when you get to a certain chapter you should be able to play the practice of the chapter as much as you want. I practiced chapter IV once and then it went back to just chapter I. Other than that the game is great.

I'm gonna have to buy this soon. Maybe next week. I'm trying to budget myself to $5/week on apps maximum.

I bought another shmup earlier (honestly, mainly cuz it was cheap) and it's not bad. But I have a feeling Icarus-X would've been better.

I'm eyeing this, but I'm finding it hard to justify dropping more cash on a shooter a week after getting ESPGaluda II... Timing coulda been better, eh? :p

Just downloaded, and it's great! Though I think the difficulty could use a little loosening up... but not through modifying the enemy layouts. Make the player move faster, perhaps? And maybe make the hitbox a bit tinier... weaving through large waves of bullets is tough when you're so big.

+1 to the difficulty (never tried the harder ones because I was so afraid of easy)
