My newest game, Endless Space Shooter ( https://itunes.apple.com/es/app/endless-space-shooter/id645456265 ) now supports icade. You can play the game just like it plays with the touchscreen (the ship goes down automatically) or with a special icade only mode where you control the angle of the ship using Up and down on the stick. It does change the gameplay quite a lot...
Beyond Ynth HD free today. Looks like a good game. http://appshopper.com/games/beyond-ynth-hd https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/beyond-ynth-hd/id386305093?mt=8 Non HD version is free today too, but apparently no iCade support for that one.
I see that Fix-It Felix just got an update. Haven't wanted to try, it since I'm clinging to the old v1.1 with iCade support... but I wonder if the new v1.4 brings iCade support back?
Where your guys thoughts at with the new WFi Controllers incoming? I think it probably spells the end for any meaningful future support of our current icades
Speculation: it would affect some how, but the old apps would then require iOS7 support and add-in the support to MFi-supported controllers. This is a double-edge sword. Games currently relying on virtual buttons but reluctant to support iCade could get a boost in appeal.
I think the new analog MFi controllers will relegate iCade to being a mere niche, targeted at certain types of games, leaning towards retro. Wait... that's exactly the niche it has always been stuck in! Which has worked out fine. If an MFi version of iCade comes out, that would somewhat hurt older devices gaining support for newer titles. But I'm not worried yet. After all, if the user base of iCades was big enough to support a year ago, it will be big enough to support a year from now. (Plus, having controller usage become more mainstream will to some extent draw fresh attention to the iCade.)
I'll test it soon. Has Wreck-It Ralph been updated also? I am not very optimistic that support has come back.
Dig! was just updated with iCade support... https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dig!/id626192197?mt=8 =o)
