Compiling is pretty straight forward. You just need to sign up as part of the iOS Developer Program to get the ability to compile to your iOS device.
Freeesh - Only joystick work but none of the buttons do I have tested Freeesh on my iPad 1, however only the joystick works, but none of the buttons do?
iCade Game Compatibility Testing I have been testing all the latest games compatible with iCade: Space Inversion/ Space Inversion 2: the joystick doesn't work but the buttons will shoot - should the icade joystick be working? Match Panic: Only works with the bottom lefthand red button and the bottom right hand white button - are there any instructions for this game?
Match Panic only uses buttons: Red (either) is match-left, White (either) is match-right. Black (any) pauses. When you're in the menus or between levels any button will play/resume/continue. For any other menu options you have to touch the screen. HTH!

I'll have to give it another go. It is the latest OS and downloaded from iTunes. Downloaded the free version and then the paid version.
What a great game, thank you for recommending it! A beautiful retro-style game with very simple controls. Best bit is the presentation: from the arcade-like boot sequence, to the "engrish" language, the scanlines, and the retro sound track. This game is a MUST for any iCade owners. Please give it a go and I promise you won't be disappointed! Would the OP kindly add it to their first post?
Warblade HD is available at only $0.99 this weekend. Supports the iCade and is a must for all retro arcade shooter fans! New version is also submitted to Apple and I hope it will be available in a few days. BIG memory optimizing done, so I hope this will help anyone that did have problem with crashes on the iPad 1. I updated it - is there a gameplay vid of it with the iCade? The one I've seen, it looks like the game relies heavily on touch controls. How is the iCade control with it?
Superb. The only time you need to touch the screen is to launch the game In fact, controls are so good, I quickly recorded a video of me playing it. Crappy webcam quality alert though!
Hungry Master looks pretty cool. I might get it when its price changes again (noting appshopper's price history feature). Does Electro Master (their first game) also support iCade controls? Is it even worth getting, or does Hungry Master totally overshadow it?
Still super bummed that I can't get No Gravity working with ICade. I love Space Shooters, this is the one game I'm dying to play the most on the ICade...
