    Helium Boy

Very beautiful looking game. Haven't bought yet though as reviews say there are control/depth perception issues. Does iCade help with or solve these issues?

Might help a little bit - mostly you have to watch your shadow to see where you are.

    Cool!

I like using the buttons right by the stick... probably a throwback to old Wico habits on Amiga. My second-favorite choice is the white buttons, and for the most universal appeal and comfort, I’d probably use those if I made an iCade game. But having a choice would be great!

    Final Run on sale

Final Run on sale $4.49 to $1.99. Has iCade support.

    http://appshopper.com/games/final-run

It's a 3D rendered car game with missions, car weapons and somewhat open world from what I understand.

Anyone tried it yet? I'm not sure whether to bite.

Our 'World of Retro Computer Games' app range will support the iCade controller.

All being well we shall release it on Friday including some classic 8-bit home computer games such as Infiltrator and Archon.

Fantastic - will Archon have a 2 player mode? where you can play other people online? I suppose that goes beyond what it could do in the first place, but would still be great. Loved Archon when I was younger.
    Looking forward to it.

Whilst it only contains a 1 player mode currently if there is enough demand we could definitely add in the support for a 2 player mode in the planned updates.

    Archon yay!

Archon is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes a two player mode would be fantastic. Are you emulating a particular version or writing from scratch? There is already a modern version of Archon in the app store but no iCade support :(

    Haunted Hallway

Just went free on app store. It's a spooky themed, Mario style platformer. Has iCade support too of course!

Edit: iCade support not working for me :( Broken in update?

Yes it's an original version and not a remake.

As i said if there's enough demand we can definitely get the ball rolling further with a 2 player mode.

Also, iCade support is included in both the iPad and iPhone versions of our apps. I also think the icontrol pad works too although the fire buttons get implemented in odd positions i think. Can't beat the iCade tho :)

Looks really fun. Lots of varied gameplay, neat effects and retro appeal. Will have to pick this one up.

Any chance iCade support was broken with last Haunted Hallway update? Not working for me at all. :( Tried rebooting iPad and syncing to iCade prior to launching app with no benefit.

In addition to Haunted Hallway (iCade returning after a fix), Helium Boy is free today as well.

I just submitted the update to fix iCade support for Haunted Hallway. Apple usually takes about a week to approve updates, so it should be up about then.

Mini review of Retro Games HD

Here is my mini review of Retro Games HD. AKA World of Retro Computer Games by Elite Systems Ltd.
    http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2216240&postcount=9

I bought it for the combination of iCade support, Archon (C64 version) and 99c price tag. Barbarian and some other C64 games are included in the price.
