Nope, that's pretty much it. If you have a Bluetooth keyboard that works with your iPad you can test it for yourself. The iCade comes with a simple keymap of which keys the various buttons and joystick are mapped to. Can't see any reason why you couldn't butcher a keyboard to make your own arcade style joystick.
It is a little different, in that each switch sends a different signal for on/off. That would add extra complexity when putting together something like this yourself.
Intestellar Force has been confirmed to support Icade and Icontrol Pad in the next update. Its not made for Ipad, but still playable.

' Match Panic ' universal + icade update is out and its free!. Just tried it, it doesn't use the stick but 2 buttons instead which makes sense as that's all the game needs. Good fun. Here's the game on iphone;
In terms of wish lists and what would get me to buy an iCade... the iPad version of Espgaluda II. That would be win, even though obviously that wouldn't work so well with the iPhone/ipad mode. It would certainly be exceedingly awesome for the arcade mode. Then they need to release the rest of their games as well for the iPad and iCade. To be clear, no, this wasn't announced. I'm just hoping.

If the compatible games list continues to grow, I will have difficulties to not buy iCade I want to be sure that the iCade will be used more and more in the future. Do you think it will be the case ?
Space Inversion 2 HD was updated today. Any idea if the update includes iCade support? I hate how devs aren't allowed to write about the iCade in the 'What's New' section.
The version I have been testing with icade support is v 1.07, latest official release is 1.06 so I doubt it includes icade support. I have seen a few devs get away with mentioning icade in their description (warblade), some just say bluetooth controllers and some don't mention it at all
Can the iCade stick be switched into a 4-way operation? Or is it possible to replace the stick with another that has that capability?
