Tap on the Cydia app, then in the search engine search for blutrol. While your there you might as well pick up Md.emu and Snes9x emulators.

I found the app...I also found the snex9 app and downloaded it but how to I load roms into it? I tried iexplorer like I use for imame but can't see it there. Any suggestions? Also, blutrol isn't working out that great for me yet. Tried it on Spiderman and no go. How do you customize the buttons in blutrol? What about games that don't show virtual controls on screen?

Yeh I couldnt get spiderman to work either - looks like its almost another floating dpad problem, first direction pressed registers the center of the dpad. With any luck the blutrol dev is working on a fix
Check here for what does work http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=119408
In snes9x you can navigate the file system so you can put your roms anywhere then locate them within the app. This is the thread for snes9x if you need help, should be able to find anything in there http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=88679

Thanks much for all the info but if I could trouble you for a bit more help with blutrol. Just loaded Soul Calibur and tried to do the blutrol setup but still nothing. Any idea what I'm missing?

K, I figured out that I have to map the buttons myself to the screenshot. Wasn't getting that at first; but is there a way to get rid of the virtual controls on screen?

For soul calibur yes, you can turn the control opacity down in options. For many others no.

I see pac man ce is on the list but, check me if I'm wrong, but isn't it iphone only? How does it play on the ipad? Also you say that I can load snes roms directly from that app?

There are iphone controllers that use icade profiles, icontrolpad is probably the most well known one. Thats how I tested it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but iPad can run iphone apps, just sometimes they look a bit messed up due to the difference in resolution. If the app has retina display you can use retina pad to make it better.

You load snes roms from snes emulator, but the emulator doesnt need the roms in a specific folder so you can put them anywhere and then search for them in the emulator. Also comes with icade compatibility without having to blutrol it.

I'm looking for a snex9x folder with iexplorer but can't seem to see it anywhere. Am I missing something? I would make a subfolder within and put the roms there but I just can't see it. Also, I tried PacMan CE on my ipad before jailbreaking it and it looked kinda crappy but you say there's a way to get it looking better on the ipad? With blutrol it might be worth a shot again.

Read what I said - you can put the roms anywhere. make your own folder, I suggest /var/mobile/media/ROMs/SNES like what is suggested in the snes thread I sent you to, then browse to that in snes9x.

Retinapad makes retina games look better on ipad, but doesnt look like pac man ce is retina enabled to me

Anyone... I ha e retina pad, it works well on text apps but doesn't seem to improve graphics, title screens, etc. is that right? Also i find many graphics apps crash after setting them to use retina pad. Opps off topic sorta... The graphics are on icade games!

At the bottom of cydia click search icon. Then enter what you want... Blutrol for example.

My replacement iControlPad is working fine. It works well in Vertex Blaster, though the triggers are used and they are really weirdly located on the iControlPad. Very awkward to press. I don't know why they positioned them where they did. Very odd.

You get used to them. My guess is they wanted to keep the pad from being too big, so rather than padding it out so that 2 triggers went on top (but behind the phone, then kept it slim and had to make do with that layout. The gametel pad looks to have a better build and shoulder button layout, but I would say its lacking in features and too chunky to be portable. I like that iCP can fit in my pocket, so I can take it out and clamp my phone in whenever.

The Gametel pad is quite portable, but I had one major problem with it. The pad kept on loosing Bluetooth connectivity only after a couple of minutes this would lead to having to reset it in Icade mode. Eventually it wouldn't connect so I sent it back to Amazon 48 hours after it was delivered for a full refund not worth the £50 I paid for it.
Where I have had my Icade since last August and had no such issues.
As far as game pads are concerned I'll try and see if the Icontrolpad is back in stock.....

    psx4all problems

Hi everybody. I wanted to check this out but I get the following message when I try: X Unable to purchase. It is not known whether this product is supported on your iOS version...

Is there an alternate? Any suggestions?

I did read what you said but didn't know I had to make a sub in the root. I was looking for an app folder and couldn't see one. Anyway, mission accomplished. Now, if I could just get the psx4all to download. :( I'd love to see if I can get nfl blitz going through the icade :D

Also, is there any benefit to having the imame4all app if I already have the app store imame?
