So what's going on with Cavorite? Awhile back it was mentioned that it now had iCade support, but it didn't, and now I don't know what's going on with it. Any updates? Also, when did DynaStunts get updated with it?
I'm not sure if Dynastunts is Icade compatible no mention of Bluetooth controllers in the description on th app store. Has anyone already got this app and tried it with an Icade? One way to resolve this would be to email the dev, but I've not got the time at the minute. I'll email the dev later on in the day.
I got my iControlPad a few days ago and I'm less then impressed. First nether the Atari collection nor Super Crate Box work with it in iCade mode. Second, the default controls for Super Mega Worm were mapped to the left trigger while Velocispider's were mapped to the select button. After upgrading the firmware to 2.2 the iCade games that do work now have proper control maps but iMAME no longer works. I've been trying to remap the controls but the A button plus any direction activates insert coin despite the fact that I mapped it to the select button. So far nothing I've tried has fixed this issue. EDIT: I've sort of figured out what was happening. Start and select are mapped to A & B in AXB mode and for some strange reason won't function properly in MAME but in AYB mode (the old layout) everything works fine. I have to remove the device from bluetooth settings and re-pair it every time I want to switch between iMAME and another game which is a PITA but at least it works. Also, the pop up keyboard goes crazy if accidentally activated in iMAME which is very annoying.
Use blutrol to map all games including ones that have iCade compatibility, blutrol overrides it, and you can keep using one profile on the icontrolpad and get the buttons you want exactly rather than a often terrible translation from icade to icp.
Oh yeh, should have checked your device first... Just a few more days til it is, and then i can use iCP to full potential
Got no interest/love for the iControlpad, looking forward to iON's next gadgets for iOS, loved the icade so after seeing their next devices i cant wait to get those. Specially the handheld one
iCade mobile does look cool. Just wish that it didn't have the spinner in the middle because then they could have put a hinge in instead, to fold it up and make it more portable. If it was smaller and pocketable like iCP I might have jumped on it, but its too big to be portable, costs more, and lacks sticks. At least by getting more devices out there iCade compatible apps may increase.
Totally agree. Really think iMame helped out a ton, i knew a lot more people who suddenly were looking for icades, it must be doing quite well as iON are releasing different devices soon. The more popular the iCade devices get the more games we should be getting. Still helps emailing/contacting devs to ask about icade support, think its ridiculous when some say no when you get a small one man (or two !) band like Llamasoft who add icade compatibility to every game yet some big companies wont do it
Dynastunts works a treat. Even flips to portrait once the iCade is detected. Good game. Caverns of Minos is fantastic though. Old Sokol with a healthy twist of new. Minter magic.
weird arcade game inquiry I had a buddy of mine over tonight and, of course, we took several strolls down memory lane via imame on the icade. However, he asked if I had a game that I don't and don't recall either. He said it was a Japanese game where a princess is put in a tower by her father (a guy with a falcon on his arm, apparently) and you (a ninja) have to rescue her. Does anyone have any idea what the hell he's talking about? I thought prince of persia at first but he wasn't a shuriken throwing ninja. BTW, it's also not Shinobi.

Tried dynastunts lite to test it and no icade? Full version doesn't list icade as a feature. I don't want to buy unless sure.

imame roms Are there any imame users out there able to get the games carrier wing or choplifter going? Both cool games that load but, sadly, crap out after not too long.
