iCade compatibility list/wishlist

I hear ya, I downloaded the iexplorer for the computer, and using it I can see my iPad files, but it will not let me drop the goodies into the doc folder.

 

I think I remember having a problem dragging and dropping. I noticed if I tried to drag the rom by clicking on the name of the rom and dragging it, it would not work, but if I clicked on the folder icon next to the name and dragged, it would work.

Did you try copy and paste?

 

I purchased Saucelifter the other day. When will icade support be active? Great game!

 

Yes, I tryed the copy and paste, but the mac gave a little fart sound meaning a no go, thanks for trying to help, also tryed I-Funboxmac, it would not even load up.

 

The mac I using when it downloads the zip file always unzips it, I will try another IBM clone.

 

I'm on a macmini and iexplorer works just fine for me. Drag and drop no problem. You can change the preference to unzip on your mac. Mine's setup to ask me what I want to do. If you download the rompack unzip it but not the roms. Just add them with one of the aforementioned apps. Hope that helps.

 

I got every thing going now, but in the iTunes it does not show iMame in the file shareing list, but hey, I can now download zipped programs, and with iExplorer I can see the doc file but does not place it into it. Thanks again for helping.

 

Weird. Maybe try one of the other similar apps mentioned because you can't do it through itunes, unfortunately.

 

It won't show iMame on the file sharing list, it would never get past Apple if it had that. So thats why you use iExplorer to add the games instead

 

Holy Cow!!!!!!

As I found out this morning (0230hrs) all I needed to do was Right Click the mouse over the doc folder, My macs mouse has a single clicker, than add file. The games run flawlessly, Donky Kong, Donky Kong Jr, Mrs Pac-Man and eveb Bezerk, but can not get ZAXXON up and running, Now back to my iCade, thanks everybody who help me out on this, I still can not believe iMame was in the Apps store.

 

iMAME on the appstore was the best xmas present ever!!, well on my way to having some great arcade games on my Ipad and I didn't have to jailbreak it amazing. iMAME and continued develpor support makes the Icade now essential

 

Super Crossfire HD is uber-awesome on iCade. So is League of Evil.

Having said that, I hope more games will over portrait view (just letterbox a widescreen game, I'm fine with that). I hate having to take the iPad out and lay it landscape just to play a game or two.

I hope Ms. Pac-Man gets updated for iCade.

 

Make sure you get Arcade Jumper, they made it portrait so it'll work better with the icade. Great little platformer

 

Can someone tell me how to get Air Attack HD and SuperCrossfire HD to work with the iCade? I can't get these games to work with it.

EDIT: Nevermind, they all just started working for me.

 

Does anyone else find the iCade joystick a bit loose to work well with some shooters? Is there anyway to adjust the joystick's mechanics?

PS, all the NeoGeo roms seem to run great!

Neo Turf Masters and Baseball Stars 2 blow my mind.
