Really nice to see the push for Icade over on the Goblin Sword thread! I thought I heard that the X-Men arcade game had Icade compatibility Was I mistaken?
Have an iCade Core on the way. Don't even own an iPad right now, but will mess around using my wife's Air until I get my own again. Used to own the original iCade but sold it a while ago. I like the smaller size and versatility of the Core's design better, and it was only $17 brand new with free shipping on Amazon, so I went for it. I also have a couple of Sanwa JLF's sitting in my closet, so maybe I'll get some buttons and do a full mod eventually as well.
Best first person shooter with mfi controls? Mass Effect, Shadowgun, or Dead Trigger? (Or did miss one?)
Got my iCade Core. Very impressed. Definitely like it more than the full size iCade I used to own. IMO the stick itself is amazingly good. Very responsive and smooth, and that's coming from someone who owns arcade machines and panels with Sanwa, Seimitsu and Hori Hayabusas (my favorites). The buttons are stiff and just serviceable - may replace them someday. Are there any button models from Sanwa or Seimitsu that can simply drop in as replacements? Or do you have to widen the button holes?
It appears that the most recent Samurai Shodown II update has broken the C, or weak kick button. Pressing the button now gives you an audible metal grinding/selection sound, normally only heard when making selections in menus. Weak kicks only come out some of the time.

I should also add... the games in the list that do NOT support MFi atm, will also have the iPhone 6 glitch. These games will be updated shortly to fix both the iPhone 6 compatibility and to add MFi support while we're at it.

Dusted off my icade this morning I've now got ios8 on my iPad. Playing some mame games via Gridlee it kept pausing/stuttering when I was playing. Fine without the icade but once it's on not good Tried some other icade games (Vectrex) and was fine Probably paranoid but there's not some ios8 issue with gridlee or icades is there? Everyone else okay?
