iBlast Moki Solution Thread

    I know there are a couple different ways to do this one with high scores. My best score is like this. I start the Mokis with the green guy higher than the pink:

    And when they get to the top the green moki goes over the top directly to the goal while pinky gets a boost from the second bomb to bounce over the maze area preventing the need to open the see-saw door. LOL, I hope that makes sense. I place the bombs like this:

    If you do get it to work you will probably notice that pinky bounces around a lot before finally going into the goal. I never got around to tweaking this one to stop that but I'm pretty sure you can drop 2 sec or so if you can get pinky's path perfect. As is, it runs 13.2s and 294 points for me.

    It's interesting that you should have brought it up. I've been doing some research and what you have mention does work, to a certain extend.

    You know I'm most proud of my score on Mastermind.

    Through (probably) sheer dumb luck, I managed to do it in 5.9s by catapulting the red moki up rather than follow the green.

    If Manny and mikeg are reading this, I'd like to know your top score!

    Ill try. :D

    Attach one end of one rope to Pinky the Moki and attach the other end to the balloon. Now do the same for the green Moki (attach one end of the other rope to the green Moki and and the other end of that rope to the balloon). Now you should have both Mokis attached to the balloon. Slide the Balloon down until it is in the position in the screen cap above.

    Now put the two bombs in the positions above and set their times to the times shown.

    When you run it, the moki's float up and get hit by the first bomb:

    And the green moki goes over the top:

    While Pinky gets a boost from the second bomb and shoots towards the goal:

    You're killing me. I'm also going over the top with Pinky but I had to slow him down almost a full second to let the balloons move the block out of the wave and the green and blue ones still beat him in. 7.4 seconds to run mine.

    The blue and green ones go in first for me too, but I timed it perfectly and the red one was right behind them. Getting the log out ASAP AND at the right angle is the key.

    You beat me on that one, too. I'm also sending pinky over the top, but like Manny, I had to slow it down to avoid hitting the balloons to move the block. My time is 6.9s.

    Manny, I also did Fly High like you did. And I spent way too much time tweaking it so that the pink moki (which goes second in my case) collides with the green moki so that they drop in the exit portal faster. My score is 303 (12.0s).

    I still feel like I could improve on Induland. I just can't figure out where. I'm thinking Pulleys, but I have found that one to be tedious to tweak (but I do have a respectful score of 308, 4.6s). Manny, you are beating me by around 90 points on Induland, so I must be missing something.

    Lol, darn it you're both beating me on Fly High and I HATE adjusting that one.

    As for Pulleys, I'm beating you by about 2 seconds and 40 points MikeG. Hint: screw the pulleys, they're too slow. :p

    Yeah, Fly High is a pain to adjust. Thanks for the tip on Pulleys, I should have figured that out myself. :)

    It looks like Manny's scores adjusted back down. So I'm back on top by a whopping 4 points. I bet that doesn't last long. :) And I was able to snag the lead on Induland thanks to Manny's tip on Pulleys. I was able to get a score of 348.

    Lol, I saw this in the "iBlast Moki on sale" thread. Now it's here. I think you forgot the "iBlast Moki High Score" thread though. :p

    And I've spent way too much time trying to suck more points out of the default levels. I haven't even made a level yet, lol.

    Yea, I saw you were beating my "fair" score so I removed all of my bonus points. It's showing my "true" score now. You were killing me in Mountain land and Induland last I looked. Well like 40 points on each. I guess I must be over looking something in those two.

    We are really close now. I see you surpassed me by a few points. I seem to be overlooking something on Mokitozor as you have a nice lead on that. What is your score for Reunion? I think mine is 259. It just seems that there is more potential on that level, but I'm not seeing it. But it is one of those tedious levels to change. Plus the outcome is always different (even if I don't change a thing).

    I don't know if I have much more to gain on Mountainland and Induland. I know there is room for improvement on Master Mind (given Camzy's score), but that is one where I could spend a day and still not get down to 5.9s. :)

    I'm thinking maybe Noah's Ark and Master Mind I can both improve on quite a bit. Make up that 80 points if I'm lucky.

    As for Reunion, maybe we're doing it completely different but I have a consistent solution that always comes out to 12.8 seconds and 283 points. I think it can be improved also, at least in the 290's if not 300, but like you said, it's a rather tedious level. And once you change any of the mokis' paths everything has to be adjusted.

    Edit: I just adjusted Reunion and got it down (UP? :p) to a 10.9 and 301! :D

    Nice job on Reunion. I'd be curious how you are doing it. I've created this cart thingy that tries to propel the mokis ahead of it. But they usually get stuck on one of the bumps in the pathway. I was only able to get to 263.

    I haven't even bothered with Noah's Ark. That level takes way too long deal with.

    Edit: 268 on Reunion now. But still way off your mark.
