Here is some art revealing the world of the mokis and some more gameplay elements! If you want to use it as a wallpaper, you can find a large version here http://yfrog.com/gyxejpmj
I can't wait for this to come out, I am going to have to play through the first one again to get ready for it. The pirate ship in that image makes me think of Rolando 2.
I thought the same thing. Brings back great memories, and I'm sure this will be as great of a sequel as The Golden Orchid was.
I second this. Without revealing anything, the level editor is amazing and a full on thrill for those who love creatively blasting Moki's - all while editing every aspect and obstacle. This game as a whole, is prime time excellent.
You were the one I was chasing on the leaderboards in the original iBlast Moki. Trying to get match your score got me sucked in trying to shave off fractions of seconds, lol. Yes MANY hours! It quickly became by all time favorite. You're gonna love iBM2!
Haha, sorry! I remember seeing you on the boards. But the same thing happened to me -- I started chasing others, and the next thing I knew, I couldn't stop playing the game and trying to shave off the smallest amount of time. iBM1 was my first, real iOS game addiction. You guys that have been testing the game are killing me! And moleki's art. I seriously can't wait for this game to be released. Though, I don't really need a new addiction. EDIT: oh, and I'm glad to hear that there is going to be a Universal version. I look forward to playing iBM2 on my iPad!
iBM2 takes all the awesome from iBlast Moki and makes it even better. Exactly what a sequel should do.
I would actually love to post a video of this level, it is so fun to watch them! Maybe after the submission. And again, all the levels were created with the in game editor, it's really a powerful physics toolbox.
Without knowing for certain, I suspect you are involved in the creation of iBlast Moki 2 If so, here's a request I imagine you might have heard before: the ability to search for levels created by a specific user (as opposed to the filter function in iBlast Moki 1, where we have to scroll to that user and then press the button to the right in order to view all the maps created by that user). Ideally, we would select a user from a friends list (the GameCenter or OpenFeint friends list displayed directly in the game), or type in his or her name, and be presented with all levels created by that user. It would be a great aid in creating levels as challenges for friends, and ensuring that they can still find them, even if those levels end up voted down to the bottom of a 4000-map list
Being accepted into the beta and then being unable to use my iDevice is the most painful torture ever! I'm not sure if those screen shots are making me feel better or worse, but it certainly looks great. I always end up spending more time in the level editor than single player for games with such a feature, so the fact that you fleshed out the level maker is fantastic news!
All the more reason to add search levels by user (and other criteria, such as tags or description) // Shameless reiteration
@Ayjona: Just added the search feature, you can search by author name or level name. That's really the last feature making it into iBlast Moki 2 before the submission. Now we have an intensive week of polishing the last levels and a lot of testing.
I'm really glad it was the last feature to make it, as it was just about the only thing missing from iBlast Moki, and the only thing keeping you fellas short of perfection Thanks! I see iBlast Moki made it to the spot of the second best rated game of all time, just after World of Goo... Let's push iBlast Moki 2 over the top and beyond them little goo-balls
Thanks, we worked really hard improving every aspect of the game and adding tons of new gameplay elements. We had a lot of fun developing this game, hope you will have even more playing it!
